India is the only country on the planet to get a long wheel base version of Mercedes' best-selling sedan in right-hand drive. So a tailor-made super luxurious sedan which could turn the segment on its head. What's not to like!
Mercedes-Benz has launched the new E-Class in India with a starting price of Rs 56.15 lakh for the E200 petrol. What sets it apart from all previous E-Class sedans especially in India is that it will come as a long-wheelbase version only. Engine options include the 184PS/300Nm 2.0-litre petrol, as well as a 258PS/620Nm 3.0-litre diesel. Features on offer include AIRMATIC suspension which is only available on the E350d, electrically reclining rear seats, a panoramic sunroof and a 13-speaker Burmester audio system. The E-Class will go up against the likes of the BMW 5 Series, Audi A6, Jaguar XF and the Volvo S90.

I know they don't use real leather but, I've in the latest E class and leathers feels pretty good.
