This composition of Zila Khan is in her unique Sufi-Khayal Singing style. Zila Khan's Classical training under her father the Legendary Ustad Vilayat Khan gives this composition also her unique touch of enjoining Sufiyana lyrics in her Classical Khayal style. This is what differentiates the 'ZilaKhan style' from the traditional qawwali and has become synonymous with her music . One can hear her adlibs (alaap) in Raag Hameer in this composition.
