Zippo has a fuel canister that makes a good addition to an EDC or bugout bag.

Just got my new zippo slim brush chrome finish. First time owning a slim, pretty cool. 29$ .97 here in Canada from drug store

I’m a zippo guy 100% BUT zippos suck for starting fires etc. I carried a zippo everyday for 30 years. But when I go out in the woods I bring a bic.

@@TerriblyTactical because then you try and start a campfire the pressure of a bic shoots the flame outward. On a zippo it’s hard to aim the flame. It just want to go up. Not out.

@@EagerMartialArts-cl7vdah i had the same problem. Just get a butane insert or modify the pipe insert so that it shoots the flame out.

To light a fire properly, you don’t stick the lighter into your kindling. You light your kindling outside of the wood pile and then you place the burning kindling underneath. Zippos work perfectly for lighting a fire.

How long does the fuel last in your Zippo Slim before you have to refill it I'm only getting 3 or 4 days and on my regular Zippo I get almost two weeks what's the deal there's not a lot of info on it Zippo almost refuses to tell you they just tell you one or two weeks any response my answers would be greatly appreciated

Honestly haven't really noticed. I mostly just carry a bic for convenience. Sorry I couldnt be of help.

The fluid evaporates into the air because of leakage. And even when not used, it’s all evaporated within 2 weeks.

zippos are made of nickel/chrome coated brass, Not steel.

What would work for a container for a single refill of fluid? Not the eight dollar Zippo fluid container. Cheaper!

Not affected by wind my ass. I took it camping on a slightly windy day and it was completely useless.

With good wick, fuel, flint, striker and flint spring, it works.
