So happy still in game. Makes a huge difference on ps5. We lack the player base, but also the bot farming, so it’s a little different. Exalts usually 80c almost entire league. Shock for PC master race

@@goldenhate6649 it's just the opposite of like the usual developer philosophy of easy to learn hard to master. PoE is hard to learn but easy once you've learned, which is sort of a good and a bad thing

@@ayoCC Personally, playing since delve, the game has never gotten easier. Especially since it now almost entirely relies on one shot mechanics to challenge players, and when the buffed story bosses, they waaaay overbuffed them in a lot of cases

@@goldenhate6649 The game got a lot easier for me when i started playing SSF, because those builds are just made to run on life support, and still kill all boss content except cortex hah. Defense is something that you kinda have to do in pob yeah.

The funniest part about this is harvest makes crafting easier and more simple

No-brain harvest crafting: collect cluster jewels, and post them for sale. Use harvest craft to reroll the cluster jewels if they don't sell. Sometimes you'll get crafts to change resists; use those to switch up the resists on your gear. Sometimes you'll get crafts that just drop items or are otherwise obvious. Otherwise, don't feel like you need to use Harvest.

i feel this hard, ive been mapping now this league for a while and found exactly 1 harvest so far, and im waiting to find a specific stupid monster thats only in harvest so my detonate dead can finally deal damage actually. been rather annoying having my build gimped by essentially random chance.

Over 50 completed maps and I've gotten 1 harvest. It's ridiculous how rare it is. I hate heist and every damned map drops a contract, blueprint, or tokens.

Getting PERFECT gear easily would defeat the purpose of the game.

With all the shit in the game... this is really the case. Was just excited for Harvest... but found like 1 in 100 maps. Found almost a delirium every zone while levelling, but found again like 1 or 2 in 50 maps. They really should bump the chance up.

I agree with you guys, and disagree with Ziz. I cant believe he's asking for Harvest nerfs already. If Steelmage is struggling, us mere mortals might be able to force 1 explodey chest craft per league? We don't all play the game for 12 hours a day Ziz!

Just play 15 to 20 hours everyday like Zizeran. Basically be part of the top 0.1% and then this game will also become too easy for you. Like I really appreciate Zizerans guides but he is so out of touch with the reality of this game it is not even funny. He is living in this streamer bubble, in this ecosystem where everything is a joke to them. The average player base never kills uber elder, never kills maven and straight up gives up long before they ever reach that point because it requires way too much grinding for someone who is playing this game like a normal person. Like I rushed like a madman, i skipped so many mobs and tried really hard and it took me still 13hours to reach maps and I was burned out after it. And then you see the exalt prices in the first hours and days go up by the minute. At the point when most people reach maps it is already so high, the majority will not be able to easily buy their gear, while the speedrunners already are super rich and just get richer and richer. Poe is an awesome game but the way it is balanced is just so stupid. They do everything they can do make you keep playing, neglect real life and just grind grind grind. People always say if its too easy to gear up then people stop playing way earlier but I fail too see how this is a bad thing. Like yeah I have a real life, I don't want to play forever.

@@jonesjeremiah I'm an Open Beta supporter who has played on and off again for 7 years and everything you stated is 100% correct. PoE *constantly* fucks over casual players -- in _numerous_ ways: Casuals players struggle to get the currency needed to trade for the gear they need. By the time they get the gear needed for their build their build has (usually) been nerfed. This is hugely demotivating for casuals. The _constant_ tree resets and atlas resets is another slap in the face towards the (little) progress standard players have made. Crafting is only for the 0.001% of players who are "no life streamers" who then complain the game is too easy. They are _completely_ out of touch with the average PoE player who can _maybe_ play an hour an day. They "conveniently" forget that **the majority of players have never complete the campaign!** (according to GGG's stats.) We already have jobs -- we don't need nor want a second one! When the game basically forces you to use a website every time you turn around **it has utterly failed.** Why do I need to go to a sketchy 3rd party website just to find items to trade??? e.g. Vendor recipes, Trading (no AH), Crafting, Boss fights, Lab, Builds, etc. GGG keeps adding more and more shit item drops that visually clutter up the screen. When the game basically _requires a loot filter_ to sort out all the shit that drops this is NOT a solution but a symptom of the problem! I joke that players spend more time playing the free mini game *Inventory Tetris TM* or _Trading Simulator TM_ then _actually_ playing the game! GGG keeps adding new half-baked systems to the game that over-complicates the simplest things. i.e. Harvest, Synthesis, Cluster Jewels, etc. All of these things slowly push the meta out of reach of the casual. PoE has a LOT of depth but it is hidden behind so many layers of RNGesus that it utterly destroys the game. Good luck crafting that item when you literally need to blow through thousands of currency to roll that one mod even IF you understand some of the crafting systems. All of these players are going to painfully learn in a decade how *GGG just doesn't care that it is giving every one RSI and Carpal Tunnel problems.* The Asian version of PoE has an MTX pet that follows you around and picks up currency but god forbid it actually be sold in the West! /s More and more players are just going _"Fuck it"_ which is a real shame as PoE at its core is a fun game when it isn't being bogged down in "fad of the league" mechanics, SO many useless items that overwhelms the player, over complicated systems, artificial time gating, build of the week getting nerfed, etc. GGG has lost sight of what PoE great in the first place: _Accessibility in Scalability._

@@thirtysilver33 honestly seen plenty who "Unga bunga" it (myself included) with random shots in the dark with a fairly good drop I found. The only thing you have to learn is basic blocking so you don't have to worry about rolling something awful onto an item. This stuff isn't actually need to know but it is for the perfectionists. I only get hard core into crafting after playing the league to the point of boredom so I could theory craft gear set ups that I may never touch but they still exist in true standard league.

@@divinityai not really. harvest crafting can elevate any decently rolled item into a great one by removing a specific bad affix or adding a needed affix like life or a specific resist. chaos spam is just hoping for pure RNG.

For what it's worth; A few hours after writing this I noticed that you can switch between inventory and stash on all the harvest crafting windows

You save crafts by left clicking on it and an icon will appear next to it where you can save it

*PoE has in a nutshell:* _Need 3rd party websites for every stupid thing:_ Vendor Recipes, Trading, Fossil Crafting, Harvest Crafting, Divination Card drop locations, Builds, Map layout, Lab, etc. It is almost like the devs want you to spend more time looking shit up or playing _Inventory Tetris_ then actually playing the game. /s

Have you actually played? That's only true if you get a harvest every once in a while. Fact is, is that you get it once in a blue moon. Not only do you have to get lucky to get a harvest, you also have to get lucky to get craft that you want, AND you have to get lucky to get the rolls you want. That's chances on top of chances. It's no different from just saying "spamming chaos on an item guarantees the affixes that you want".

@@estoylaroca maybe this is valid in SSF, but in trade not so much. there are also atlas passives to aid your harvest woes go watch grimro's video on harvest. day one he made a literal 6 t1 perfect stygian vise. yes im sure he has teams of people gathering crafts for him and whatnot, but still...day fucking one with harvest there is basically zero chance you will brick the item. harvest also nullifies nearly every other way to craft. nobody will craft without harvest now. theres no point. we'll see how this league goes but if harvest becomes a problem and theres perfect gear flying around left right center then i won't be playing anymore. or at least i'll only play SSF, where then it might be held back by the chances upon chances you speak of. but in games where you're given perfect everything on a silver platter...they're not fun. there is no replayability. no goals. if PoE turns into that because of harvest (like it was in harvest league) then im out. guaranteed
