I was waiting for this video to come out! Really enjoy your videos! Hard to believe this combine was ever in the field as it’s so unreal clean! 😳😳 I know what it takes to wash a combine, no easy task! I was a tech myself for many years and then in the service office for another 12 years. Not on green iron but on New Holland, Massey, Hesston, Versatile… Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Are combines crop specific, or is it just a matter of swapping the header for different crop types?

Just swap the header. But there are some crops that require changes to the combine. Like rice and small grains. But for the majority of crops you just change your header and settings on the combine.

When doing the swing arms do you replace all the bolts also?

Yes they are one time use!

@@ZKMasterTech okay how bad is it to do the swing arms. Is it something a farmer can do. I did purchase a mechanic service manual for the machine

@@389Sky you have to pull the chopper off and the chaffer frame to do them all. So if you’re capable of that then yes. Then you need to know how to do the torque sequence and time it.
