Not a fan of Collymore, but this is an amazing piece of commentary. Just pure emotion, something most commentary today is nearly completely devoid of.

One of the reasons makes this goal england concede so memorable is that it was interpreted with the deepest emotions by an Englishman, Stan Collymore. I think Stan Collymore adds tremendous value to football by doing this.

i love this. Collymore was no mug as a player, but he was just as gobsmacked at this as everyone else was. this is the sort of goal that reminds everyone that we're ultimately all just fans of a beautiful, beautiful game.

The commentary is so good that even if you was listening to the radio you would KNOW how good this goal was.

I think the thing about Zlatan is really his Taekwondo training, which makes him unpredictable to other players. He makes moves no one else would do. This beautiful goal is just as wonderful as the one he did against France at Euros, where he was hanging horizontally in the air, and also scored from a difficult angel. So footballers out there, take up some Taekwondo training...then you might just be able to meet him at his game.:)

While Messi and Ronaldo set new records, Ibra is already a legend. He deserves many a man hug from Collymore and from anyone who loves the beautiful game. Ibra is one of the 3 reasons why I wake up every morning smiling, happy, hopeful. The other two are my son and my daughter.

The funny is these type of things happen on the pitch when your kicking ball with your buddies with no one watching but when it happens on a football pitch, you've made history. It's what I love about football and sports in general.
