I’ve had mine for years and it’s made everything easy not mentioning it’s easy maintenance taking apart n deep cleaning every crevasse such a good vacuum only down side is it’s kinda bulky but it’s built solid .

Just yesterday, I trash picked a Eureka Floor Rover DASH, model NEU526, which is very similar to what you have. It “runs and drives“ (motor runs and belt spins), But it’s missing all the attachments and one of those small wheels on the bottom. Nice thing about it is that you can dump it out both the bottom and, if necessary, the top. That comes in handy if the bottom door is busted (and you have to tape it), or if it is extremely overloaded with dirt (like mine was). I intend to make a video of it after I’m done cleaning it. BTW, you may want to always include the model number of every vacuum you review.

Does it have an on/off switch to turn the head roller brush on and off? I have a few long pile rugs that don’t like brush rollers

it does not have a switch to turn off the rollers

@@MerryCottage you can turn off the brush when vacuuming hard surface flooring. The button next to the on/off is for turning off the brush. The blue light is on when the roller is on.

This thing is junk. It won't pick up a popcorn kernal. It just gets into the beater brush and bounces around making a racket until it spits it out on the floor. Any small hard object just does the same thing. One of the worst buys I have ever made. When using the hose attachment its OK but bulky.
