Hi zone of tech, my iPhone 12 pro is giving noisy blotches in the background of all photos, all lens even after ios 14.3. Foreground is fine, especially on night mode, but zooming in even a little on the background shows crazy 'blotches' (not small grains). Have you experienced such artifacts /noise in indoor photography??

I’d argue that the iPhone 12 Pro is worth it if u want it. Some people want the mini, others what the pro max, some want the standard 12 and others want the regular pro. I went from the 11 pro max to the regular 12 pro and I love it. Mainly because of the ram management and the camera doesn’t crash like it did on my 11 pro max. I got the silver one; no complaints

About the LDC-like display issue: It’s most likely a software bug, I’ve got it after updating to iOS 14.3

Amazing and thorough review! I bought the 12 Pro last week and I do want to point out a couple of things: 1. For some reason I feel like it is muchhh heavier than the iPhone 4 and 5 despite that it's thinner, I'm coming from Pixel 3 that I've used for 2 years and the weight change is definitely noticeable, even my wrist and little finger hurts after holding it a while haha. 2. In my experience so far, my batter lasts much longer than what you say... almost 3 days for me! And I do use consistently throughout the day Whatsapp, social media and mild web browsing (it does get to 70% at end of 1st day, then it goes up to 20% on the second day, and there's still enough juice for the 3rd day in the morning!). Perhaps that's because my model doesn't have the 5G antenna, which I'm happy to not have it anyway. In terms of iOS... I had to get accustomed back to the Apple's way of doing things, but I do miss the Always on Display feature, and an actual usable Do Not Disturb mode... in Android, once activated, it would pause all notifications, whereas on iOS with DND on, I still see notifications popping on lock screen, the notif panel and even the red badges... not very useful imo.

Hey I had an iPhone 11 until it smashed. I'm thinking of getting the iPhone 11 pro max off the used market where I can get it 1/3 off of initial release price. Should I get that or throw in the extra 2-300 bucks for the new 12 pro max? Can someone give me an opinion if they've used either?

Grab a shellrus sapphire screen protector. It’s the best. It disappears onto your screen and is super smooth.

Coming from a XS, my 12 Pro is leaps and bounds better mainly in the camera department and that’s why I bought it. I do agree that the MagSafe thing is a good idea as it develops further along but right off the bat it isn’t perfect. The 2020 iPhones are more about future proofing than anything

I am in the UK and got my iPhone 12 Pro Max imported from the US. I am not dealing with those EU markings, I don’t want a DUSTBIN on my £1.4K iPhone. And its also nice to have mmWave hardware should I need to use it in the future.

I got the 12pro over the 12 for ONE reason....the pacific Blue and design!! Absolutely stunning! I even weighted should I wait for the 13pro but ultimately decided not to because Apple is known to ditch unique color after a year

Evening Dan 🙂 I've got to say I love my gold iPhone 12 Pro Max, the only thing I miss is the always on display, hopefully as you say, maybe next year. Compared to Android, I much prefer iOS it's so easy and reliable. I can't see the point off that wireless charger, wired charges so fast. I don't find the size of the Pro Max too big, and I have small hands. I'm glad I changed to this phone, however, a bit of an annoyance though, is you have to do software updates over WiFi, you can't do it over your phone's data even if it's unlimited, I've had to sign up for broadband £22 a month just to do updates on my Apple Tech! @@susannealexander I can't update software over my phone's data, because iPhone 12 Pro Max will only allow you to do it over WiFi. I could go to public WiFi places to do the updates, example my bank who has public WiFi, but it's an inconvenience, most people have broadband at home but I didn't so I've had to sign up for it. Hope that explains better..

I used to have a 11 PRO MAX and the battery life was great, now I got a Note 20 ULTRA and the battery is not as good as the iPhones but it gets me through the day. Sometimes I miss my iPhone.

MagSafe is a shameful attempt at proprietary charging. Thank you for your honest and frank review. There are so many KZfaq channels out there praising this feature. I just received my iPhone 12 Pro Max last night and I’ll stick to conventional charging.

Overall good video, but when you compare the iphone cameras to other brands you should keep in mind that nearly all professional photographers select the iphone over other brands. Something you should mention in your videos.

If Apple were to make the telephoto lens longer, i think it would be less useful, 52mm to 85mm are a good portrait lenses, with a 5x lens you will have to step back too much

Yeah I bought the one plus 7 pro because I couldn't wait anymore from apple to change the front. The xs max that I've had for 2 years as a back up because Apple it's very good with support.
