@spearmintz oh! I just got into Risk of Rain 2 recently, might be of interest to you. Semi random, got some rogue like elements, third person shooter with a great mod community and a fun aesthetic. I recommend it!

On the topic of gunforcing, i usually heard of the exact opposite where you would drop an empty gun and pick it back up so the game thinks you got one this floor so you have a chance for a passive, because they're always active while with guns only one can be useful at a time. Usually done with the hunter because her crossbow is already pretty good

I didn't know you can reduce the cursed level by dropping the cursed items, it makes sense I don't know why I never thought of that

Yes it can definitely help if there's something you don't really need or want.

I'm pretty new to this game. What's the difference between grabbing a green vs a blue vs a normal looking chest? Then also when you destroy them you get different loot as well?

Each chest is a different tier, so the loot inside gets better as the tiers increase. D is brown, C is blue, B is green, A is red/gold, and S is Black. So brown chests have pretty bad guns in them most of the time for example. Generally you get junk from destroying a chest, which is useless, but sometimes you get drops or secret things.

I'm 24 so I usually relate more with millennial era stuff but technically being born in '98 I qualify as a zoomer haha

The oldest zoomers are approaching 28 I think, really weird to think about.
