I'm terrified of what's going to happen to Judy in this movie, not plot wise but what disney will do to her. She's a female lead in a disney film so I know that instersting, flawed but still likeable protagonist will have all her flaws ironed out and basically be robocop levels of skilled while Nick is probably going to be less competent than before. I have no faith in Disney's ability to write good female characters anymore

A few years back, there was a whole point made about pigs not being possible in Zootopia because it would imply... well, that domesticated species exist in that universe

Yeah, but that’s also why we need like more back stories on this stuff before like the future and stuff and why we need more answers in the second one And even if not then they have to make like a backstory of these characters so they would call it like back stories of different characters. You want to know about. It would totally be cool because then we would. Definitely start asking more questions.

Nick's father was supposed to open a tailoring shop. I remember he was trying to get a loan but was refused because of his species. He ended up borrowing money from Mr. Big. Mr. Big was a different character at the time. He used to be one of the polar bears.

The question in the car is open to interpretation: Nick asks about, and Judy admits to, _caring about_ him. That could mean in a romantic sense, or it could mean a very close friendship. There are many kinds of love (remember Elsa and Anna?); it does not have to be about a crush, per se. Bellwether was never explained?? The way she was continually put-upon, ordered around, disregarded, walked over and shoved aside in the first movie is sufficient explanation for her going wrong.

This is would great for kids who are mixed race which probably be part of the plot of story of having mixed race kids and them dealing with the racism that comes with it

How exactly would two different species have kids with each other? It's not like other characters in this movie are doing that and there are a bunch of half breeds running around

Don't count on interspecies romance. The reason Zootopia got shelved for so long was because Disney DIDN'T WANT Nick and Judy to hook up. They were deadset against ANY characters in an interspecies romance, and didn't know how to move forward and avoid it. If anything, they'll introduce separate love interests for Nick and Judy.
