But assuming it’s part of a larger word, all we know is that it will be a *Japanese* word starting with the sound mo. If it were written モ, then that means no matter if it is in English or Japanese, the word Vegapunk was going to say starts with a mo sound.

I agree that Vegapunk has a backup plan for when the broadcast stopped abruptly. My favorite theory of mine now is, that the broadcast would appear again somehow and that York unwilling is the one to broadcast it signaling the elders to take her out. It could also be that the other satellites know what the truth is too, and that they will find a way to reopen the broadcast. If it's none of the above then, we may never know.

Just something about two elite swordsmen crossing blades is so epic.

All the information Vegapunk revealed pales in comparison to the fact we now know what happened to Don Krieg, especially Gin, and even Pearl.

I was surprised Zoro was able to send the elder flying with only a 2 sword style attack. It could just be that the elder underestimated his strength but either way it was cool to see

So idk if anyone else is picking up on this, but I’m sensing another crew separation coming up. 1 - this arc parallels sabaody and the crew separated there 2 - the crew is currently split in two. Luffy’s group has less SHs but has bonney and atlas. 3 - there is a sense of urgency to leave immediately and the crew is nowhere near grouped 4 - there are two ships that can be used to exit the island with both groups near one. I would hope everyone meets on elbaf, but they might arrive at different times.

There are times where Oda speaks directly to the anime team to give them clarification on parts in the manga that haven’t been made clear yet, and he has done so once or twice with the english translator of the manga. Hopefully this can be one of those moments where the anime and english translation shed a bit more light on this situation

Wild thought/theory: what if Luffy doesn't become king of the pirates? I don't mean someone else takes it or Luffy dies. I mean what if he discovers at laughtale that giving up being king of the pirates ends of fulfilling his bigger deeper goal that he thought being king of the pirates would get him? The idea comes from Koby actually. His dream to become an admiral was based on a deeper goal as well. I think the idea of Koby working his way up and being offered a chance to become admiral, possibly as a reward for stopping/ending a weakened Luffy, that he turns it down and switches sides. Stating that his true goal is to fight the suffering and sadness in the world. That idea is completely reasonable and can be a turning point that makes a large swath of the marines switch sides to fight a bigger truer evil. Especially when compared to Luffy. Now if that is reasonable, I can see Luffy having the same arc when he gets too the one piece, especially if there is a fight going on right there. The big bad guy tries to use the one piece and take over claiming that there is nothing that luffy can do. Then luffy destroys whatever is there that is significant enough to grant one the title of King of the Pirates. And as Luffy is destroying it, that is when Luffy reveals the true goal that he had since a child that mimicked Gol D. Roger's goal. Saying something that if he had to pick between that goal and king of the pirates, then he will not only give up on being king of the pirates, but stop anyone else from stopping his real goal. I'm not saying that this is true but it would be an amazing way for the final fight to get to its last stage. Instead of "I'm going to be king of the Pirates!" Luffy takes a big breath and shouts out his deeper goal for all to hear, causing all onlookers to go wide eyed in shock. Yes it's a silly and stupid dream but with everything going on, they all believe he can actually do it. All except the villian and that's exactly why the villian is a villian at his core. Not only does he think that the goal is stupid and silly, but he is certain that it is so stupid that he actively fights against it. Ultimate freedom vs complete slavery, who will win? Or some other similar concept.

The last time we saw Don Krieg and Gin was around 24 years ago, that make me feel more old then the 18 years since the Going Merry. All that is 2-3 years in world time.

There hasn’t been anything shown in vegapunks message that would need a visual yet so hopefully there is something he needed to show either a piece of evidence or a live camera view of the elders.

We finally get to see a Strawhat 1v1 a Gorosei without getting oneshotted after their sneak attack or running away. These back and forth blows will be legendary. 🔥

I believe the iron giant has a camera inside it. Vegapunk knew only the giant is big enough bait to gather all 5 elders in one spot together, and we know Vegapunk wants the world to have video recievers ready. The giant is about to expose the elders to everyone.

The eye-popping thing could be showing the effects of Luffy's G5 scrapping off on his crew and also how aligned the straw hats are with their captain.

I just thought of something. What's in the iron giant is just a signal relay point, and the actual transponder snail is hidden inside Vegapunk's head, just like how Brook stores things in his skull. That's how it was able to identify when he died and start the broadcast.

Theres also a drawing error when Nusjuro draws his blade. From the panel of him drawing it to the panel of the clash, Nusjuro swapped what hand he is wielding the sword with.
