Nice parallel to the first time Kaku met Zoro on the Merry back in water 7. Back then he came to take a look at the ship and what repairs Merry needed, and this time he's coming in hot wanting to destroy the Sunny. Zoro was also napping the first time like here! Only thing missing is Zoro mistaking Kaku for Usopp for a moment after waking up x)

Zoro has the best passive observation in the crew. It's not even debatable. Even Sanji constantly gets caught off guard despite it being his specialty. And Luffy drops his guard a lot (although sometimes he's extremely alert).

The thing is that the superior strength of this attack over any 'normal' tempest kick was his long neck and the momentum he is getting from it. Performing this attack without transforming seems kinda useless.

@@ridiculicious Yes, he is stronger now and so is his non transformed tempest kick, but physics doesn't change. His transformation should still be able to give him a nice power boost for that attack. So in any case he should have transformed to attack with maximum power if he is planning to go against the ship of a yonkou. Don't you think?
