What a table. Looks fantastic. Not even do You make it look great, You make it seems so easy to build as well. Very impressive. Looking forward to the first batrep on this table. What about a "what if scenario". Eowyn and Merry never left Edoras. And the Witch king did not die at Pelennor fields, and attacks Edoras to wipe all Eorlingas away from Middle - earth.

The static grass applicator works better if you touch the alligator clip to the glue. That may be why the grass isn't standing up much. I mostly do larger areas of glue and since the glue is conductive I only need to touch one part of the glue to affect a large area. With the small patches of glue you have, it would work well to mist water over the whole section and then put down the glue patches. Touch the alligator clip to any part of the wet area. Great video! I subscribed so I won't miss another.
@Zorpazorp
@Zorpazorp 6 жыл бұрын
Ken Fox oh wow that misting idea is brilliant! Effectively create conductive medium across the whole board, but then the grass will.only stick in the glue patches. Yeah I usually stick the alligator in the glue for large sections but because of all the little patches I didn't bother :D by happy coincidence it helps it look pretty trampled, which works really well.for the well travelled board haha :D thanks for the great advice man, glad to have you onboard :)

Zorpazorp www.greenstuffworld.com/en/cutting-tools/593-balsa-stripper.html Yeah abit like that. You set to your desired thickness screw the blade in then just slide it along the balsa strip. Hey so glad you're inspired :D so the three materials are balsa wood, extruded polystyrene and foam core board. I buy balsa wood in packs of assorted pieces which I get from Bunnings for $20 and I used about 3 of those. I also bought a couple of special sheets that will much thicker to use for a few structural beams in the Towers. Foamcore comes in sheets 1200 x 600 and I only use one sheet of that. Extruded polystyrene comes in sheets that are 1200 by 600 by 50 and I used 5 sheets of that which is also from Bunnings :)

Fantastic work. can you list the brand, color mix and lenght of the static grass you use with the applicator? Thanks
@javiermallo2203
@javiermallo2203 6 жыл бұрын
To solve the problem of not touching the glue with the aligator with the static grass aplicator you can use a long wire put inside of a used empty plastic pen and fix it with some hotplastic or similar, and aplly the aligator in the top outside and the top bottom of the wire in the glue, you can move from one spot to the other easy.
