I have this system but it has smearing, skipped frames up to 10 seconds long, and slow loading. Did you ever run into these issues?

I recently bought the 8 channel POE NVR (MN ZR08HN) . User inter face looks nothing like what it shows in user manual or the company's on-line help section. Also it seems like Chinese-to-English using Google Translate which leads to puzzling instructions. If you are willing to go through a painful trial-and-error with the user interface and you get a great deal, then maybe, but I would look elsewhere.

The other cable is for power in case you don't have a POE system to plug it into.

I purchased this system but it was very poor quality. Zosi support was pitiful. Returned this junk for a refund.

Poe means power over Ethernet. Gets power from the Ethernet cable.
