I'd say a reasonable alternative is just a quiet room with some dimmable lights or something. This seems like overkill.

I tried that in my kids room now I have a 2 x 4 frame with blankets over it like this it works

My son is autistic he always pulls his shark blanket and other things over his head to calm down they need that small secluded space otherwise like in my situation things can get bad fast

" made for specialy for children with autisem " its a japense pod hotel. Like the mirror the walls the whole thing. This is how you do good marketing but its not true
