@campbelloffroad36604 жыл бұрын
The BDS kit is great quality, almost nothing bad to say about it other than cost and loosing gas mileage. There is very little trimming required to fit 35s, no rubbing after that
@cam4usa4 жыл бұрын
Yeah it was disappointing to install the BDS lift and then have to trim. It’s almost impossible to get those skinny little flares to flex perfectly without creating undesirable spacing between the flare and the fender. The bison flares are a bit wider so they may flex better (or worse). I plan to install AEV highmark flares on my wife’s 19 Bison next.
@krazytommygunnhughes8564 жыл бұрын
Cam M what wheels are you running? I am having a hard time finding 17x9 or 17x8.5 with 4.5” backspacing. I find some with 17x8.5 with 4.75” not sure of those will fit with 35” tires.
@cam4usa4 жыл бұрын
KrazyTommyGunn Hughes for now I have the stock wheels with 1.75” spacers. I plan to go with AEV’s Crestone wheels but I’m not sure if that will require some spacing also or not.

@@krazytommygunnhughes856 So my wife traded in her Bison. Before letting her do that, i converted my truck into a Bison, then traded her ZR2. You had me until seeing the 6x9's smashed onto the door at the end. Dude, 6.5's work great and fit behind the grill without cutting stuff up and slapping something over them like a sticker. It's your truck, so I'll STFU...do what you want for sure! I'd like to know where you're sticking the amps but now I'm thinking you might mount them on the windshield with 3M tape or something. The console well is pretty deep and has no tray, so that seems like a place to put a CB/HAM/Both then worry about the handheld on that dash thing you fab'd up...or on the knee knockers with the typical mic mount. Attempting to give criticism with possible solutions...feel 'em out. Still using this as motivation on the external look and trimming a $50,000 truck's fenders out myself. This ain't a rough around the edges K5 Blazer where my mistakes are fixed with another $25 fender .

@@campbelloffroad3660 there are only a few available for the 2019. I think Duramax Tuner, and ADP, are the most common tunes available now, they are emissions in tact tuners, but not certified by the EPA or CARB. GDE 2016-2018 tune is the only completely legal tune for the 2.8 duramax, but their tune for the 2019 won't be ready until Christmas... (from my personal research) GDE offers only 1 tune that is safe for towing and better mpg, and cleaner (500-800 miles between regen, stock I'm getting 250-550 miles between regen). ADP and duramax tuner both have tunes for city, towing, or racing, but with 2019 you cannot have the switch on the fly option. And duramax tuner says their tune doesn't seem to affect the distance between regen, meaning it isn't cleaner than stock tune. Both ADP and duramax tuner have more powerful tunes than GDE.

@@campbelloffroad3660 tell him to get an American Diesel Power tune. Patrick Runge knows this truck front to back. His 2.8 tune is fantastic, I have it on my 2017 colorado with 35s. Id recommend 4.10s too. I went for the 4.56s, but I kinda regret it. Back to the tune. The tune cleans up shift points, and let's the engine sing to 3800rpm at full throttle. It pulls harder than all of the delete tunes on the market and he is going for a 43mm turbo upgrade and CARB emissions certification. Like I said he really knows what he is doing.
