Love the vid and absolutely LOVE the CF - that 10 minute time limit though just has to go! It seems like you are just getting into what you want to talk about and express and that time limit slams the door in your face. And - might I add - what we also really enjoy listening too.

That 0393 looks amazing! I think the g10 on the 0393 looks alot better in person and like how it becomes almost a liner lock as you mentioned.

I only have one of the 0392's and I have this one too. I really I like it a lot.I agree on both: It's the best ZT this year although that's not too difficult and yes, the Inlay is has isn't the prettiest thing. I love how yours looked.Thanks for sharing!

Hey doc great vid again. Commented on the last one you posted about this knife and since then have contacted Shepard to make me a carbon with a copper flake set of scales for my bronze one. It has the full stonewash blade which is far better imo. Thanks for the info on him! Mine doesn’t make that noise and is butter smooth!

Love the customization! I'm not happy with the stock overlay at all as it looks really cheap.

I think the DLC looks good with the handle color. It ties the blade and the handle together, especially when it’s closed.

Gorgeous modification! I've seen some others say their concern is that the titanium frame-lock is more like a liner-lock due to the thinness of the titanium. Is this at all accurate or is it a full titanium frame-lock? Would be very bummed to order it only to find out they jeopardized materials and sturdiness to bring the price down.

I bought this knife because it does NOT have carbon fiber. I prefer the G10 for the added grip. I handled a dozen other knives in this range before deciding on the 0393. What sold me was the build quality and the way it felt in my hand. I honestly don't understand why anybody would want a knife with a slick handle. IMHO, form follows function. I appreciate your review and respect your opinion. I just subscribed after seeing this.

Love my 0393 but I found when adjusting pivot it favours the show side. When I first had it I thought it looked misaligned because the bevel towards the tip was a little asymmetrical. But upon further inspection its not centered & begins to align when tightened. Only problem is I need to sacrifice a bit of alignment for action performance. Anymore tightening and it doesnt flip very well but blade centers. It kills my OCD but I the knife so much Ive let it slide (for now.....)

Well said, thank for actually critiquing the knife and I agree with what you said-- the G10 was a bad idea.

hey doc, im trying to customize my 0393, nothing to this extent ... yet... just trying to change the hardware and such for time being, i found the pocket clip, pivot and the filler tab on the opposite side of the clip on dlt trading but was wondering if you ever found out about any standoffs or any screws that fit, anything helps love the videos and thanks alot

I hate to sound contrarian, but I like the hourglass overlay. It makes the knife stand apart from other designs.

What's up Doc ? Thats a great bunch of knives in the beginning of the vid . I love my 0393 , 3.5 is the smallest blade that i will carry alone , if I carry a 4 in. blade, I'll usually carry a small blade also , in case I have to cut something in a crowded area , I don't want all the "Sheepeople " to get scared . Anyway, I glad ZT is starting to go a little bit lighter and slicier with some of their blades. I like the spanto looking blade , but I wish it was a real spanto, I think its an awesome blade design. The handlde fits my xl sized hands perfectly, theirs a tiny bit sticking out the bottom. I can't wait to get carbon fiber scales . Catch you next time ...

The new bronze sprint run has a _meh_ looking S35VN stonewashed blade for $20 less. _Why?_ And yeah, it's _really_ hard to imagine the original version looking at this, which I think handily beats the 0392 as far as looks and functionality. This is a looker. Too bad ZT will never admit they were wrong on those hideous scales.
