The name reminds me of the Limelon i bought recently. They put two names together so people have an idea of what they are buying. Feels like the fruits are manufactured only so they can sell them for a high price because of their novelty.

Yes but with limelon at least they do not pretend its a lemon melon hybrid

If Google is to believed Zucchini has 20 chromosomes and Cucumbers have 14. So it's probably like asian pears being a "cross between a pear and an apple" in that it's not like that. Looks like an immature pumpkin to me, too. Looks neat, but I don't think I'd buy one either. Never seen it in US stores.

It's not possible. It's cucurbita maxima zapollito (probably unpure strain).
