The big price difference is because the more expensive reader has bi-directional testing capabilities and also has a bigger screen.

@johnimburgia4321 it is, I rented one from autozone once and it was identical. The instruction even list the Innova website for some troubleshooting thing or warranty or something like that

Innova makes those for Harbor freight. At least they include the USB cable and owner's manual for the HF version. When I bought my Innova 5610 back in 2020, they didn't include either of those things. I'm not sure if they do now or not. I had to download the owner's manual from their website and it's way too large to print off. Innova makes okay scan tools but they lack a lot of information. Those B2 PIDS you were looking at are your fuel trims. I saw one that said a -16% which means the car was running rich but that could be because I assume the car was cold and still warming up.

I kinda figured it was the same i rented an Innova once from autozone it was identical to this one. Which fuel trim said 16 I really appreciate you pointing that out cause lately my fuel mileage has been suffering. But sometimes it's fine. Comes and goes. What could cause that issue? @@hoobsgarage I actually saw the information wrong and it says -1.6% which is not bad at all. This is at the 14:40 mark of your video. What STFT B2S1 stands for Short Term Fuel Trim on bank 2 of the engine and it's reading sensor 1 which is the one before the catalytic converter. S2 would mean the sensor after the catalytic converter and is the second sensor on that bank. LTFT stands for Long Term Fuel Trim and the letters and numbers after that stands for the bank and sensor.

@@hoobsgarage At 14:09 in your video you can see just the overall Short term and long term fuel trims on bank 1 and 2. You can see the LTFT's on both bank 1 and 2 show a -10.2%. When you see this, it means that the computer sees a rich condition and is taking 10.2% fuel away thus the - sign. If you would have seen just 10.2%, that means the computer is adding 10.2% fuel in response to a lean condition. You want to see fuel trims stay as close to 0% as possible and anything within + or - 10% is considered acceptable.

That looks so much like an Innova scanner. Since it doesn't do Bi-directional tests, I guess it's close to the 5510. If it has close to the same feature set, it's $80 cheaper than Amazon's price for the 5510.

Yes it does I've rented that Innova one from autozone before and it was identical. In the manual for this one I even seen something about for help or warranty registration or something I can't remember but it said to go to innova .com or something like that

Returned this scanner, doesn't support Ford vehicles very well, Tried it on 2008 Ford fusion and 2011 Ford f150. Does basic dtc scan but any thing else that it claims to do, it does not so for the price basically only getting basic a over priced code reader, may work better on other vehicles, not sure...

You need a car with a computer so I'm going to help you out and trade you my 2002 Isuzu Trooper for that Chevelle. Bring a trailer because it don't run and don't try to get me to throw in extras like air for the tires or electricity for the battery because I know what I got.
