It seems like with a lot of mages, if you'r fed you're going to kill them before Stormsurge goes off (it'll still hit their team though) so maybe it would be interesting on champs that don't have the burst to 100->0 someone. Maybe AP Karma, or Shyvanna where you've got to wait between really powerful spells.

stormsurge is probably more analogous to the collector, execute damage and bonus gold on kill. Shadowflame low hp crit is probably a bit misleading considering the crit is locked at 20% more damage, which is nice but its not really anything near the 75% bonus damage that actual crits give :

For exactly 50 seconds at 16:23 is my ATF of anything you've ever done. I've watched you for 3+ years and this is it! You went thru almost every emotion and we could "hear" them as they occurred. Excitement of getting to drive it. Hope, "if we kill this turret maybe..." Confusion of how to drive it. Disappointment when you first launch it. Joy when you start drifting it. So looking over the Stormsurge and Caster's Companion comparison in those circumstances, Stormsurge - 100ap 12mp 5%ms and (must deal 35% max health in 2.5sec) 25%move for 2sec and 374 damage after 2 sec/or 374 aoe and 30g if they die first vs- Caster's Companion - 90ap 600mana 20ah and 72 damage x6 (1per 3seconds) aoe, single target is 35% damage per shot beyond the first. So single target damage for Stormsurge is 374 and Caster's Companion is 180 (72x.3=21.6 x5=108 +72=180) The burst from SS is way better, and the drawback of not getting the damage immediately is you get 30 gold and aoe if they die too fast. Only reason to take the CC is ability haste and the mana to keep up.

Your favorite champ, Akali, might work with the Shadowflame+I.E combo... But what I really wanna see is a Tank Morgana with Heartsteel, Riftmaker and Spirit (if the enemy team have enough magic damage, of course).

At around 23:00 when talking about the Shadowflame x Infinity Edge combo - Ezreal could work. He deals magic damage on everything except for Q (unless you use Q to pop your W). Corki is your best bet because all his abilities deal magic damage yet have better AD scaling, but if you want to do some testing, Warwick deals magic on-hit with his passive, and his Q and R deal magic damage. Regular crits plus magic crits on R and heal 100% your crit damage sounds like it could be good. Otherwise, maybe Shyvana could do well as her Burnout and E deal magic, but if you hit the E then every auto on that target takes magic damage when in regular form.

Hii so I need an opinion on a Kaisa build I do. I do first item stormrazor, rageblade as mythic,then boots (sorcerer's shoes), then nashors and usually after I do shadowflame or other ap items. I just don't know if this build (with changes bc of the new items) is a viable one. I oneshot people late game both with q and w but idk if it's really the best one on her

The reason storms urge has so much is because you can guarantee you will get its damage off if you kill the target before 2 seconds. Basically the damage is not guaranteed. So it has to do other things to ensure at least you get something

can u play ap kaisa with the new shadowflame and stormsurge so ur w can crit and stormsurge executes them and u will be able to 1 shot someone with w. also i have a build idea on hybrid kaisa, since shadow flame gives 120ap u will get w upgrade from it alone and u go crit to increase the crit chance and ur q also can crit in theory , so u do omega damage with all abilities and autos.
