The ramp test is the shortest FTP test currently offered by the indoor cycling app and perhaps most consistent. Unlike the 20 minute tests, the ramp test takes pacing out of the equation; although you will need to achieve a higher power output during the last portion of the effort. Results are calculated as 75% of your last 1 minute average wattage. Make sure to get a good warm-up prior to launching the test in Zwift because the built in 5 minute warm up is a little bit short.
