I still set on repeat that one song that can be googled by the "zzz open world theme 1" for a couple of hours almost every day, shame it didn't show up in this vid, it's my favorite by a huge margin. Also that's very clever of hoyo to sponsor people who analyze(and inevitably glaze) their music, they know their strength. edit: it did show up in the last minute of the video

the combat music system actually kinda reminds me (at least from what you said) to how pso, psz and pso2 did their music, which in latter was named SYMPATHY system. I'd suggest to look it up for those who dont know, cuz its very interesting system that, sadly, got underutilized a lot of times...

Love to see you're getting another Hoyoverse's music discussion! I'm not very into dubstep thingy, but I'm interested with the dynamic music in the battle theme. Like, having 3-5 individual track that can be played at random and still match each other is pretty wild. I wonder whether they're going to experiment that kind of approach to their other games too, or it's gonna be exclusive to ZZZ. Love your video and can't wait for more!

I really love these 5:10 sounds in music. I first encountered it with Tokyo Jungle and ever since I wish it was used more. Thankfully it's used in HSR Bronya's ult (perhaps last of us?) and now ZZZ!

Honestly? I found a Reddit thread where someone had translated a post DMYoung made on Bilibili, where he was talking about working on ZZZ. I imagine there is more information available in Chinese than there is in English.

There's a section in that "Quackjacker" track(as you called it) that starts at 11:55 in your video, and it sounds almost like a battle between the 2 sounds, but you cut it a bit short. It's my favorite section in the full track

Another hoyo game with bomb ass character themes, and another hoyo game where they go to waste 😞. At least the game soundtracks are so nice. I was hoping for diegetic music with Anby at the bare minimum considering her theme literally plays when she puts on her headphones in the demo, but oh well. I was just really hoping for once we’d hear those said themes be incorporated into combat, but I guess I’ll take my Robin ultimate from Star Rail and sulk. It’s even a bigger loss this time since ZZZ incorporates vocals (rap, opera, and rock from what we’ve seen), a totally unique and awesome direction for the urban aesthetic.
