The Honda highness is still a much better bike at just 20k more..much superior quality, refined engine and all metal body.. feels like a big boy bike..the pulsar 400 is a toy...don't see it enjoying a lot of sales.. people buy a bigger bike for quality and the feel..not just a big engine...nobody is really riding over 80 within city limits..

That is still an additional task for the engine & hence reducing efficiency. There should be some solution to this.

I am using himalayan 450 almost 4months i made 5.8k km in banglore traffic every one is looking at me how this big bike is gliding through traffic.....on high way i reached 162 top speed but my consern is about chassis breaking with some manufacturing issues

It's more of a placebo thing 😅 1. Put high quality oil only. 2. Check the cold and hot viscosity regularly (don't burn your fingers but) 3. Check the color and smell of the oil. 4. If it's liquid cooled, regularly inspect the oil is not making a milkshake with coolant. Ensure the radiator fins and hoses are intact. Applicable for oil cooled engines also. 5. It's a whole different story if you are using it on track or trail. 6. Last but not least, Always check the level.

Hi bosky. I have a GT 650. Planning to get a BMC filter and a lighter (than stock) slip on exhausts (no plan to ride without db killers 😀)…maybe RRPs. If not the slip ons atleast the filter. I am ultimately going for better fuel efficiency. Will it cause issues with the engine as the back pressure and air mass at inlet will change. Please advise.
