Great color combo and a lovely car, not a bad angle on it IMHO, however, I needed useable rear seats so I bought a Maserati GranTurismo S which can seat adults in the rear seats, has about the same power and 6 speeds so 0-60 and 1/4 mile are quicker and faster. It also looks great and can be had for 1/2 the price than a 2nd hand 456. 🔱🔱🔱 Win Maserati!!

Great review. I agree with everything u said. I have a 2011 grandsport convertable. Ppl are too hard on the interior,I've been in a ferrari 308 and Lamborghini countache. The interior on those cars are craptastic. I love my grandsport. I have accessories he doesn't have but these cars are timeless. I get stares from ppl and ppl ask me all the time about my corvette. Yes I'm 55, but not my midlife crisis car. My third corvette, I also had a mazda rx7, a triumph tr7,mazda rx7 c4 corvette and a c5 corvette.

Don't be fooled. You may be able to buy a 456 for $50k, but you'll spend that amount again over 5 years of ownership. Maintenance will be ruinous.

On the 7.3 the brake booster assists the power steering which is why you loose both at the same time. It also uses ATF which is why you had that smell.

One of my nemesis cars out on the road in South Africa in the early 2000`s... I had a 1995 Opel Kadett 200TS and always ended up scrapping with these when I came across one on the streets of Johannesburg...

Are there any chips in the PVD coating on your rims? I just learned that the coating isn't chrome and just wears off after a few years even if you don't damage them. Man I hate the EPA banning chrome plating.

I really do love those rims you put on there. I'm buying a very similar set tomorrow.

Here's my two cents of advice having done a lot of headers in the past 50 years in driveways and garages on many different sports cars. Number one get at least a basic repair manual like a Haynes and read the parts relating to removing exhaust manifolds and exhaust systems before you start so that you don't have to be guessing about basic things like how many oxygen sensors there are and where they're located. Number two get that car much higher off the ground. Number three buy a lot of WD-40 with the snake around and point metal nozzles and soak every fastener a week. And my recent addition to what needs to be done is to watch every KZfaq video that exists about doing the job you were going to do with a critical eye and picking out the best tips from each one.

No it’s a KIA and that’s its problem . Nobody cares about the badge , it’s the fact that KIA is part of the Hyundai company , you know the company that seems to have a problem building engines and also the company that has issues with quality everything . I considered a stinger when I went shopping for a new car just a few months ago but after driving the Honda Civic type R and reminding myself that it’s a premium brand HONDA rather then a KIA a brand with so many problems , the looks of the Stinger are great and I came close to purchasing one and I was trying to talk myself into one but after some consideration I went with the Honda and yes I realize the Honda is front wheel drive rather then all wheel drive but it’s why I went with Honda, if a brand doesn’t have a long history building all wheel drive like say Subaru does then perhaps a front wheel drive with limited slip or posi-trac is the way to go . You might think that I hate Korean cars but that’s not the problem , the problem is that $50,000 is a large enough amount of money that I’m going to think things through. Hyundai engines make there way into KIA cars because the two brands are one company , most car manufacturers think that it’s cheaper to not fix a problem with a car or engine and just keep repairing the problem over and over again , well what happens is there are people like me that take into consideration the fact that any car manufacturer that continues to produce an engine that is a complete failure and that engine makes a better boat anchor then a automobile power plant but that engine continues to make its way into that company’s cars year after year ! Well knowing that and purchasing a car from that manufacturer would be a foolish thing to do, don’t you think ? That’s why I said the biggest problem with the Stinger is it’s a KIA regardless of of the engine in the Stinger, you see I have a problem with KIA because of the customer that have been stung by KIA when they purchased a KIA / Hyundai and they trusted that there shiny new car that they are excited about would last there family for the next 10 to 20 years because they plan on taking care of it . Well no matter how well they take care of it , it’s going to be a nightmare for that family, I have a problem with that !
