need to start undercoating this with surface shield, stop the rusting from getting any worse and save your frame/suspension/hardlines/drivetrain

Love the way older model trucks look with newer model wheels. Its what I did to my 2001. I had one concern tho. Im from Louisiana so I don't deal with rust but man those front leaf springs looked spooky. Just curious is thats normal

2003 was the last year of the 7.3 as well as the first year the 6.0 was offered. You could order your powerstroke with either motor for 2003 only. Thats actually why I never did the 04-05 grille like you were saying, God knows I wouldn't want anyone to think I drive a 6.0.....I did the one piece headlights though, they just look so much better and modern. My trucks a 250 but identical to yours actually.

Awesome build, you should definitely invest in undercoating your truck. Wool wax works great and is a lot less messy than others.

Looks nice. I'm in the new england area Fryeburg maine to be exact and have a fair deal of parts for the 7.3 if your ever in need hit me up. Lots of interior parts and motor stuff. Would definitely recommend replacing the transmission cooler with a bigger 1 from the 6.0.

Thanks for the video. I have a 2001 7.3 power stroke. I’m looking to do the same swap. Would it be possible to use my OEM brackets for the newer style 2021 running boards? I was looking at my OEM brackets and it looks like it fits but not sure? Thanks

Definitely need to do something about the lift and those front leaf springs. If you was to really try to haul what that truck is rated for it would not do it. Rear leafs bling on the front and font on the rear. Definitely address this issue man. 😂

If someone can't tell it's a 7.3 by the way it sounds and the grill is confusing them...their opinion doesn't matter anyway. I have the 05 front clip with international badges on the fenders and 7.3 badges on the doors.

Great job! But while you were working on the front you should have checked the hub bearings. Your front wheels are showing signs of bad hubs. your 1st video had a cool clip of a wheel coming off and destroying a car. wait till that hub fails and does all that damage to your front end. Definitely check it out. hate to see you do all of that work just to skimp on the mechanical and really waste your money.

I would get under it with a wire wheel and clean that rust up then put on some rust inhibitor to save the frame, then have the bed rust taken care of.
