Great video. I am a registered nurse and I can totally relate as I also have experienced bullying myself. I've had nurses talk down to me and belittle me and made me feel like I was less than. I cannot stand being disrespected or humiliated. It causes me to have anxiety. And I start to feel depressed. What made it worse was that there were other nurses around who watched it happen and did nothing about it. It time to end the nurse bullying culture once and for all. It should not be tolerated.

My resident told me on rotation what I should do as a future doctor when a nurse gets cocky and says shit like “I don’t want to do this, do it yourself. Fuck off”(yes eastern european nurses do this) It’s very simple. “Go and f_ck yourself and get me the goddamn thing I asked as long as you are still working here” I know t’s profane. But in some places, nurses think they have all the power. They can do anything they want because they sucked on some attending d_ck no. Stop it there. PUT THEM IN THEIR PLACE

It was once beyond anything avatar movie depicted and we currently live in an absolute wasteland it wasn't carbon based it was silica based and alive and connected in a spiritual bioluminescent way. Tears in my eyes wishing I could be in those times the garden aka flat earth was destroyed and made baron and I hate the fallen angels and fake history. We've devolved immensely but electronic technological delusion gives everyone the perception we have advanced people are more ignorant than ever before and more arrogant and not worth the effort to enlighten

I left two jobs during orientation as a new grad. I thought the second place would be a lot better but my god it was worse . The preceptor would yell at me in front of others and yes I did make mistakes but that's because my preceptor made me fe l that way. She'd speak to me like I'm w fng dumbass when I'm very smart but anxiety is anxiety and I cannot focus correctly in an environment where I'm being yelled at. She'd always criticize me and always do too much like she's make it extra harder on me , just because she was type A didn't mean I needed to be type A too. It was awful. I ended up quitting and I felt really bad about it but then I said fuck it. I even told 3 of the managers about it and they didn't do shit, matter of fact they seemed to have encouraged the behavior - unbelievable like they literally told me well nursing is difficult and you have to have thick skin for it WTF 😒🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️. I don't want to leave bedside for the next job but I'm terrified that it'll continue. I was raised in a loving environment so when I hear any kind of humiliation or yelling , my nervous system immediately goes into shut down mode .

Did anyone have an issue obtaining a position with an FNP from Walden? Does the industry frown upon them or online programs in general? Or is that a past stigmata

I am still in the beginning process of getting my NP. I was married to a man who had his Master’s Degree and he wouldn’t allow me to get mine. Excuse-We can’t afford it. Like most things that was his answer. He knew from day 1 my goal was to be a NP. After 20 years I started to become myself again. Every day I chip away the negativity that he caused. I started to go to Chamberlain. The first few weeks of the semester I was going through a divorce. So I felt that at the time it wasn’t appropriate for me. I also found Walden University and thought that looked like a good program for me. I have several friends that went and love Chamberlain. And that’s why I thought I would try it. After dropping the program, I went through some big changes. Including moving back to my hometown in Indiana while COVID was thriving in this city. I finally took some time and visited my sister and her husband asked me how school was going. My mouth dropped open. He knew that was an important dream of mine. And he thought I was already in the program at Chamberlain. It meant the world to me. After getting some of my ducks in a row for Walden University, I shared with him the progress that had begun with that little question. Here it is my brother-in-law encouragement is sending me to meet my dream. That is something that my ex never ever did in the 20 years we were married. So far I agree with you. Walden University or Bust.Good luck. I hope you fulfilled your dream too.

Love your videos! Can you make a video explaining how clinical work exactly? Do you go to your clinical every day, twice a week, or how does that work? Also, does Walden give you credit for every hour you are at clinical or do they only count patients seen? I know some schools do it differently and I am considering Walden. Thank you so much I subscribed!! Another one I would love to see would be an example breakdown of the coursework we can expect. How many tests, quizzes, how often, how many discussions, etc. Lol, I know you are busy, but I do love the videos, very helpful to us! God Bless you!

I’ve been researching FNP programs and I have set my heart on Walden. They have a direct entry for ADN RN- MSN FNP. And they said it would be cheaper because I get a discount on my masters portion since I would be obtaining my bachelors on the way and would be considered a Walden graduate. I already know about getting clinical placements I have been already looking around and asking. I’m so excited

School (classes) is nothing. Getting the preceptors is where the stress comes in. Classes are hard enough but I spend tons of time finding preceptors and it is beyond horrible. No preceptors--NO graduation.
