I can finally understand the words to this long-time favorite. Have heard this song 100 plus times, but couldn't understand all words at the tempo the Indigo Girls sang it at. Sorta refreshing to hear it slow and all haunting like, but I do miss the harmonies of a 2nd voice. Wouldn't mind Olivia singing against her own voice harmonies, though. Thanks for this one.

I love this interview so much. And this record. I feel like Alex was so close to her authentic writing self when doing the Share Your Story album, but only felt safe doing that for others. ...maybe still scared to tell her own stories in the same way. The Songbird cracked me open, and to then follow it with songs like May it Change You, Aurora, and Anymore.... wow wow wow. I work with complex childhood trauma survivors (as one myself) and the number of folks who relate to her music, and have found healing in it after I've led them that way, has been just as touching from this side of the speakers. Sending love to ya girl💜
