In NASCAR leagues I always run the texas hooters scheme. Sad to see my favorite scheme irl go.

Hooters was planning on going with Dale Jarrett in 1996 because he was going to start his own team and take his Busch team Cup racing. But his solid 1995 season convinced Larry Mac and Robert Yates to sign him to drive the #88 car and that was a wise move. Larry McReynolds said on the scene podcast that a man like DJ with three young kids and a wife and what Hooters would ask DJ to do probably was not the best move.

I was at the 2024 Brickyard 400 and I have to say, that aside from Larson winning and carving up the field, the race was boring. Single file and no passing? Plus I agree with any comment(s) that say “don’t go where NASCAR isn’t wanted”. If a race can’t sell out as big as the Indy Speedway is, then NASCAR should pull out of that venue anyway. Especially since they ditched their core group of fans, the southeast.

But all racing is boring as all hell. I always can't wait to see my Company's sponsored car be in the top ten because it shows how much people don't give a shit about this hillbilly sport. We make NO MONEY FROM IT.

Never thought I would say this but I agree with NRF. The race was a good watch but we shouldn’t go where we aren’t wanted. If we can’t sell half the seats we shouldn’t be in the venue.

Uhhh I never known Hooters to have nice meals because you didn't go to Hooters for the food, you went for the drinks, maybe chicken wings & see the Hooter girls. Last time I was in my local Hooters was 1996 but I'm like you, I'd rather go to Chili's, Outback or one of those type places to eat rather than Hooters or Twin Peaks! Besides, I don't eat wings & never have, don't pay for overpriced mixed drinks or beer at any restaurants.

You and reality are not connected at all! Red Lobster was destroyed by private equity and a sketchy shrimp company that helped out with the unlimited shrimp deal. Ironically enough, NASCAR will likely see the same fate as Red Lobster if there is no charter agreement for the future. Cost cutting did not help Red Lobster, and it certainly hasn't helped NASCAR. It did, however, help the private equity firm squeeze all the money they could out of Red Lobster, and the same is true for Frances with NASCAR. Hooters is dying because their food is mid at best, overpriced, and too tame by today's standards, and not to mention a fifth of Gen Z identifies as LGBT. Go to Pluckers when any game is on, you'll be on a 40 min waitlist.

If I were in charge of HH i'd eleminate one of the co-hosts. Theres too many cooks in the kitchen and it seems like at times they're more interested in trying to be funny than doing a serious podcast. Just my opinion.

Chase got this job on talent. Not sponsorships. That's for the guys that say he did. Bell an him will bring back the fans to jgr. Don't get me wrong, Chase is a nice guy but he can be a fire cracker on the track. It's all about the W, and we say bonehead but I disagree with that term it would be a bone head move if he was 12th trying to get 11th, but he was 2nd going for the win you got to put it all on the line. But yes he has matured in the wheel house. Good luck briscoe pride of Mitchell Indiana
