Have u play this format? Deck bricks and dies to one ht most of the time. Going 2nd if u dont open shfter its over. People play a lot of ht and it hurts

I couldn't include every possible relevant deck, I only chose to include what I personally felt were the 20 most popular/relevant decks out there

Fair enough, I personally felt like the deck wouldn't be played that much since it still suffers from going second (and all the stuff locking them into puppets). I think ultimately how good it is depends on whether its a handtrap or board breaker format. If I had to put it into a tier, I think its a solid dark horse deck since people may not be prepared for it.

The reason for Sanctifire ban is that there are too many "special summon lock" monsters out there that they could simply replace puppet with. While puppet is the best one, there are too many out there to hit them all, so just hitting the problem card in Sanctifire makes more sense IMO.

@@tcgsam are they all Light or Dark attribute, if not they aren't compatible with Branded anyway. There can't be THAT many special summoning locks that only affect the opponent. If it affects both players Branded can't use them, they NEED to be able to special summon to function.

I'm so sick of you crybabies complaining about Tenpai. Maybe get better at the game and you can beat a deck with countless choke points. Like you people complain about a single strategy deck while snake eye out here murdering people on both turns.

I do think Tenpai is strong enough to get hit, but its definitely true that the deck has a lot of weaknesses as well (from personal experience playing the deck). I think a lot of people are just frustrated about how uninteractive transcendent and summoning are. I don't personally think they'll directly hit it on the next list since it is new, but then again they hit superheavy samurai on the list after it became meta, so who knows with konami

@@tcgsamI don’t know using super heavy as a example that some people bring up is a good one for one. purely because one is new archetype and the other is support for a existing archetype. Personally I think it would set a bad precedent for Konami to normalize them hitting good deck just for being budget friendly. And to be fair one example does not a pattern make
