What’s your verdict on the trans now a couple years or so on mate? We’ve done 111,000km in about 2,5 years with our y62 and it’s twice had an auto transmission shop run a service through it. Reports have always come back the oil and filter in very good condition, no debris in the pan. We drive it daily, tow trailers, tow our camper, bit of bush, a lot of long drives and a lot of stop and start. It’s always gotten to about 40,000-50,000km and that flaring crap gets a bit erratic. The lad who runs the auto shop has driven it and noticed the same and never been of concern. He’s of the opinion Nissan has stuffed up with the software around the shift pressures and ability to relearn its shift points. It’s one of those things gets a bit erratics, behaves a bit lazy at times and maybe a bit agricultural they aren’t the smoothest shifting drivelines but it’s also never let us down

I understand this is an old video. But am I the only one who can't hear the difference between stock and Harrop? No-exhaust sounds like a monster though. I took mine out for a drive like that when the cats were removed for a cleaning, it's terrifying.

Very helpful video, so firstly thank you. I think my timer must be set, but didn't set it. I have only just installed the unit it's like yours in the video but I've had it for nearly 3 years. I never set the timer but I walked out to the van this morning and it was going but it wasn't warm, how do I turn it off the timer please mate, and why would it not be hot, does it need to be primed before start every time? Thank you

How about wet braking on road? I heard people complain about km3s being like roller skates and that the razr mt was top for a mt on wet roads. That is my biggest safety priority when choosing a mt in the tropics.

It's probably the most profitable bakery in South Australia because lots of people go there, doesn't mean it's the best. People often have low expectations and just like every other bakery its products are high carb, high sugar and totally unhealthy junk food when it comes down to it. And yes, in my opinion it's over rated......

I'm sorry, but that charge controller is stupid. It should have it built in to supply a little bit of voltage to wake the bms up when the bms cuts power to the outputs. I understand most people don't have this issue cause they have solar on there cars, but there will still be alot of time where this will happen to people cause they have let there car sit under the house or what ever. I honestly thought lithium charge controllers would have a wake up feature built it to make this type of thing more user friendly

I know this is a year past but here is my question. I have a working pump but fuel is not pumping through the line, what could be the issue?
@AussieVanAdventures6 ай бұрын
Either the pipe is kinked and blocked.. or Air lock, I’d say. You might need to try manually bleed the hose by taking the end off at the heater and letting the fuel run down. Also check for folds, kinks
@jamelcampbell49846 ай бұрын
@@AussieVanAdventures I will be doing that within a day or two, also I think my pump moved into a flat position and not between a 15-30° angle hanging under my trailer, I will be relocating the pump to a better location and shortening the lines. I'm thinking of mounting the pump in a box screwed to the lower part of the front of the trailer close to the fuel tank. It's been sitting with never being started and the pump is good, just acts like no suction. Thank you AussieVanAdventures for letting me know where to start.
