Man, this was my first on to-do list and was unsuccessful. The new door handle will not spring back to close. Meaning, when you pull the handle to open the door, the handle actually stays pulled out instead of retracting back. I reinstalled the original back and had Toyota check it out. They said the door handle is broken. I told them that can’t be because I just tried replacing it, and same thing happened. Now they want me to pay additional $ to take a look at it again. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Nope!

The smaller door handle piece IS SO FUCKING ANNOYING TO PUT BACK IVE BEEN TRYING TO ALIGN IT FOR LIKE 40 minutes holy fuck

Nice! I was expecting you’d have to remove the interior door panel but this is way easier.

From reading the comments I gather the $45 Amazon aftermarket brand (weatherstripping/belt/molding...whatever they call it) do not hold up as well as the dealer parts . I have a single cab and the dealer wants $130 for the two windows. I was just wondering how yours, that you got from the place you mentioned, are holding up after being on your vehicle for a year ?

Do NOT buy the $45 set off Amazon whatever you do. All 4 shrank up and I ended up buying a set from Toyota to replace them.

Way easier to remove than I was worried about. Getting ready to raptor line my 2008 sequoia with 206k miles thst runs like new. Just needs paint tlc.

Recently, the door handles on my 2010 limited started getting stuck in the 'open' position. Do you know if there is any lubrication (if it would help at all) that can be added to these door handles when they are taken apart like in your video? TIA!

I have a 2012 Sequoia platinum.. damn mirrors feel like they just need some grease. Is there any way to service these? I found a video with a guy popping up the glass but I swear... it's not working on my platinum mirrors... The glass won't pop UP.
