Serious pros use: (Whilst playing) Mark in, Mark out at the points you want and then ripple delete. Assuming it's not too far to just keep playing. Avid and Premier keyboards default keys are gripuied to keep them easy to quickly use in location on the keyboard.

guys. i am an intermediate video editor. i did NOT KNOW these little hacks he's doing to make things quicker. so smart. i would have literally sat there and added cross dissolve & blur background individually to each photo. im like how could i not think of this.

Not sure if you'll see my comment because this video is 5 years old now, but here goes. I used to be able to use my mouse roller to move the timeline but now I can't, what button did I hit for this to change on me all of a sudden? A little more detail, once I hovered my mouse cursor over the video I could move the mouse roller forward or backwards to move the timeline forward or backwards. Now when I do it the video playback window gets smaller or larger. Hope you get what I'm talking about, right now I'm searching KZfaq for a fix haha.

You can also try lifting out with in/out points. Good if you can't move your footage for whatever reason.

Quick question! I'm a newbie with Premier Pro. Learning the keyboard shortcut for Ripple Delete on a Mac. Everyone teaches it as Shift-Delete. It will not work on my mac. I stumbled onto using Option Delete, this works! Why is my system different???

As an AVID fan, I love the "add edit" option. Never used the razor tool. Never liked it. I use"H" in my case (so I can switch software whenever I want without loosing any time. I have the same shortcut in DaVinci too). Great tutorial!

I'm not sure what I'm doing incorrectly. I followed all the steps and when I'm in AE and try to apply the corner pin (support. motion blur) apply export to the footage I don't see the blue solid background created. I only see the green screen in the phone. I repeated the steps multiple times but it's not working. I am using a stock footage with a watermark. Could this have something to do with it? Help please.

I recorded a long event with 3 gopro's. I need to keep the camera audio. Will this work if I keep the audio with all of the clips from each of the 3 go pros? Thanks!
