The tiaras are lent on a semi-permanent basis to princesses and HRHs. When Diana and Charles divorced, she lost the HRH part of her title and was not a member of the royal family anymore. That's why the tiara was given back to the Crown. It was never Diana's to begin with. As for the Princess of Wales title; that could not be taken away. Official titles cannot be revokes once given. Camila became the Princess of Wales when she and Charles married after Diana's death, but never used the title out of respect.

When I was a little girl I tried to make tiaras out of necklaces. My mom had some old rhinestone necklaces that I tried to stand up on my head, lol. I never imagined tiaras could be made by "ordinary people" so I never tried to make any as an adult. After watching you make one I might just give it a try. I'll start on something a lot more simple than this one, lol. Thanks for the inspiration and instructions :) I'll be watching more of your videos.
