I agree, for me even eating or taking a shower makes me very exhausted. which means that even playing games is draining our energy to generate positive or negative things, but normal and healthy people don't notice it, so advice like yours are very important, doing nothing intentionally is not a waste of time. As a former Game Designer for top chat Hypercasual games, I’d love to give another perspective on this matter. First, the video is a bit outdated it terms of the genre “Hypercasual”, let’s dig into that first. As a Game Designer for an Hypercasual games from a publishing view, I can tell that making those games is *super* expensive, yes even the small Hypercasual ones are expensive and time consuming for developers. So we have to get the money back, that’s make sense. We know revenue wise that users are less likely to pay for Hypercasual games, so around 2018-2022 we saw a significant amount of Ads based mobile games. Knowing that players stick for around a week of play (7%~ of them) so of course we had to put a certain amount of ads in those games, *but*!!! We didn’t add any ads BEFORE seeing if players even like the games. So my goal was to make the best experience possible for the people that wanted to play the game through the ad we used. I know there are many fake mobile games ads but those are Casual games trying to get many users to download their game like users usually do in Hypercasual, usually Hypercasual games will have genuine gameplay footage. So we know we had to monetize through ads. And we later understood (through data) that users leave the games if the levels are too long, or if the gameplay is too complex. We didn’t made those mechanics simple to make the game addictive, it was because we saw in the data that complex mechanics lead to big churns between levels, and if a user downloaded the simple and fun game they saw on the ad, this is the game I would like to deliver. Yes, the amount of ads were big, but that earned many independent game developers start their own company, because their games were successful. Now, as for today. The term “Hypercasual” is not that relevant, the market focuses more on “Hybrid Casual” games. Those games are still simple and easy to pick up but with much more depth to the mechanic and world. Ads are still a primary income but recently In - App purchases overtook it. Players are willing to pay to play those games, and those games are sometimes surprisingly fun. Of course there are a lot of bad patterns implemented in those games sometimes, when the publisher wants to squeeze the last lemon out of the game, but that’s usually way after the game has reached its potential and is not interesting enough to get new players. At this point the developer would usually start something new and add some of those dark patterns if the game has almost no users. Yet again, with the Hybrid games, we really see much more engaging mobile experiences that I would love to see you explore and share your input on. I’d love to chat with you and share a wider image on this subject, Game Design wise or Market side of things, it is really a fascinating subject 🙂

If you want to get out in nature more, Get a dog, My BC has at least 2-3 hours of walks each day, I'm only there for 1 hour Mon to friday but the weekends i'm there for all the walks no matter the weather. First one more effective on small groups of enemies, for the second one, effectiveness increase with enemy count in the particular area, and overcome first one at some point.

It depends on how many enemies are in range of the second one. If there are more than 8 enemies the second is more effective, otherwise the first.
