Presets try to fix a problem that never existed in the first place lol It's a dumbed down version of creating classes so why not create classes in the first place? Also a preset is really a template it's not like a true component feature which separates styles from content (hardly any builders have this right now though)...

Almost by this plugin but u need to put this in next update . If I only want to choose to modify or apply typography settings and not colores. The user most be choose what I want to change . I miss something or is already possible ?

What you will have is option to delete tokens/groups withing Breakdance collection so our colors won't be mapped to Breakdance global colors. Or let's say you want default font-sizes to handle withing Breakdance, you could delete Font-size within Breakdance collection so they will not be connected and fluid sizes will be applied then only when you use context menu. So let's say you like fluid typography and you had problems with our previous color mapping. Now you will have option to tweak all these Breakdance values or you could delete color mappings (you can delete whole group in click) and handle that within Breakdance. + You will have option to tune all values generated by our generators, when you edit variable it will be excluded from bulk update and respect manual user input + You will have option to add new tokens within Headspin collection (these will appear in context menu) Hope this address your question, as I think this is 95% of flexibility that we can give without breaking system. We had many team talk about what we could do to keep it easy to use and give full flexibility and this is kinda almost everything that could be provided. Almost anything above this would hit limit of technical limitation and breaking system.

Do you need to immagine presets as a light alternative to globalblock for made a template of single element, not an alternative of class you can made a presets with class imho. Instead

Can't wait until the contextual menu's appear on right click (aka plaster) and also the new dashboard in acss 3.0 right inside of Breakdance will be fantastic (hopefully in the next phase or 2)!!! Just wish Louis would give you an option so you can easily create classes front and center (like Bricks) for people that want/need it, you still have to fumble to get to the classes options and I don't want to have to press keyboard shortcuts each time either that's not a great workflow. Thanks for the video!

Yes, but there are some things why class workflow does not translate good within builder with many complex elements like Breakdance. Breakdance class will target only parent element for example icon and will target parent Div. If you wanna tweak icon, you are in the problem. Preset in nature is a class, but it will inherit Breakdance GUI for element and target child elements like icon, text, desc in icon box. This gives the best of both world (global control of class) and ability to use that within complex HTML composition like Icon Box elements and these elements which are including many other elements HTML elements within single Breakdance element. So yeah they are classes, just they will make lot easier to work with classes within Breakdance as they are abstraction to give GUI controls of the element at global level.

@@recodaTech this is right for class-workflow inside Breakdance, but not inside other builders. Comparing with like bricks, and your icon Box example. Using a preset for every Element inside the icon Box, or using a class for every element. That's basically the same

@@schatten105 Surly outcome could be replicated with adding classes on few HTML elements, Breakdance is different beast and it is going with more streamlined route with this abstraction and giving like 98% of benefits of class workflow within Bricks/Oxygen. This is more aimed I would say to give global control and benefits of classes with Elementor-like workflow which is easier for many users.
