Yes, but there are some things why class workflow does not translate good within builder with many complex elements like Breakdance. Breakdance class will target only parent element for example icon and will target parent Div. If you wanna tweak icon, you are in the problem. Preset in nature is a class, but it will inherit Breakdance GUI for element and target child elements like icon, text, desc in icon box. This gives the best of both world (global control of class) and ability to use that within complex HTML composition like Icon Box elements and these elements which are including many other elements HTML elements within single Breakdance element. So yeah they are classes, just they will make lot easier to work with classes within Breakdance as they are abstraction to give GUI controls of the element at global level.

@@recodaTech this is right for class-workflow inside Breakdance, but not inside other builders. Comparing with like bricks, and your icon Box example. Using a preset for every Element inside the icon Box, or using a class for every element. That's basically the same

​@@schatten105 Surly outcome could be replicated with adding classes on few HTML elements, Breakdance is different beast and it is going with more streamlined route with this abstraction and giving like 98% of benefits of class workflow within Bricks/Oxygen. This is more aimed I would say to give global control and benefits of classes with Elementor-like workflow which is easier for many users.

Nah, i don't agree. people coming from ELEMENTOR or DIVI will understand preset 1000% easier than classess.
