Put a 30 inch handle on the Rifleman's Hawk, and now you have a light axe. I also have the Trail Hawk. I find the edge a tad short. But for light duty work, its a decent hawk. And yes, it throws nicely.

I appreciate this review. A homeless gentleman showed up to my apartment asking me to see exactly what it was, cus while he was panhandling a car pulled up to him and handed him a brand new one in a box. I give him water daily and make sure he doesn’t go without food and showering. The warmth is going to come in handy when winter hits again… and he power bank itself is extremely needed. We weren’t aware that was one of its features. He wanted me to express gratitude.. So again THANK YOU BUNCHES🫶🏽💯

Very nice rig. But why go to the trouble and expense to trick out a Crosman pellet pistol and then use gamo ammunition? May I suggest you try JSB or H&N pellets.

Hey so I too have a theos and I do love it but I have noticed that it seems like now I can't get it to clear up as good as it did when it was new in terms of mirage and focus. Also I have noticed that even if I am looking at 1500+ yards when I go all the way to infinity it gets blurry and I have to back it off a little bit.. have you had these troubles?

Never, don't hesitate to ask them about that or let friends try it and see if it's good. Don't tell them what to look for just ask if it's clear. A lot of times if tell them what you think you're seeing. Sometimes they will just agree without actually noticing it themselves. But I would call it in if multiple people agree and it's confirmed not an eye issue

Strike anywhere matches? With the semiauto, oh yeah, this is gonna be a good one as well. 22plinkster did it with a pistol at probably 7 yards. At 50 this is gonna one up that, maybe have it light a firework too that would be cool. But im just guessing. Just hitting a regular match head would be hard enough lol

I've got one. Unfortunately it's plagued with light primer strikes. Probably the firing pin. Average 5 light strikes per magazine. Horrible 5 shot groups at 50yds using several kinds of match grade ammo. With a 24 power ffp scope. I bench shoot target rifles all the time. I sent it back to Bear Creek Arsenal. They sent it back saying nothing was wrong with it. Along with a target of 7 shots and an inch and a half group. Still has the light strikes.

I always see guys making negative comments on Bushnell. So I’ve been using Bushnell optics for forty years. Never had a fail. Never had a complaint. A couple decades ago I went 100% Bushnell optics on everything I have optics on. About twenty different rifles of various calibers. I even use them on semi automatic Remington WoodsMaster 30.06 carbine. That scope on that rifle has been through so many hunting seasons deer and bear with the same Bushnell optic on it for decades. That rifle has heavy recoil and been through everything short of a battle field. With one Bushnell optic ever being mounted on it. I had to remount it years ago due to mount screws getting a little loose and completely breaking off because recoil sheared the screws in half while shooting. I remounted the optic and still use that rifle several times a year on short range hunting situations. I’ve had a Bushnell Banner 50mm lens on My Savage 110 for decades.270 cal that fell off the hood of my truck on a rock logging road. It fell directly on the scope taking 100% of the initial blow. I picked it up and it was still dead on at 100 yards. The countless times I banged them while carrying them around and never any issues. Ya. I’ve never had any issues mounting, bore sighting and sighting them in has always been easy. I throw all other brands in the junk box. The only other brand I’d ever consider is Night Force.

I shot mine with a 223. The bullet took out two leds and passed through the unit hitting one of the batteries on it’s way through. It continued to operate in that condition. I cleaned out the battery and glued what pieces I could find back together and I’m still using the unit. It is a great tool for shooting steel at distance where you can’t always see or hear hear the impact. I find it particularly useful when I am shooting my A2 with iron sights without someone spotting me.

WOWSER! Superb video and explanation. I must say, stupid impressed you were able to hang off of that. lol. One of the reasons I love sunwayfoto is that they listen to shooters and t his was one of the tripods I suggested and requested, based on observations of matches and other creators such as yourself. The goal was to get something tall for tall shooters and those shooting at extreme angles where one leg might need to go downhill more, and wanted a 2 leg tripod for quick deploy. These are also inverted leg sections as you pointed out with thicker section dropping down which makes it both faster to deploy, and I feel makes it a tad more stable, and it definitely shows. These types of tripods are also great for using as support as well, instead of just shooting off of them. Check out the T3620CSLI which might be just the right one for hunting specifically, and weights a bit less, and for all around, someone who might want to sacrifice quickness for size, the T4030CSLI. Exciting times!

@@GTMGunTotinMinnesotan cool, thanks for the input. Been on the hunt for the perfect lightweight MPVO for a while now. Sub 24 oz, adjustable parallax, tree reticle, zero stop, preferably a brand with a good reputation. Nothing quite checks all the boxes although I've heard a lot of good stuff about the Helos BTR 2-12. The GLX 2.5-10 checks a lot of boxes too. Right now I've got an NXS 2.5-10 (checks all the boxes except the reticle) and a Credo 2-10 (no adjustable parallax although I've been fairly happy with the image out to 700 yards). Digging around on some old threads on SnipersHide and saw Ilya/DLoO had some fairly positive things to say about the TS-12x. At 18 oz I was intrigued, but figured it was too good to be true for a street price for $400.
