It's the hands of Moroccan artisans that should be marvelled not the French designer who failed and replaced by two Moroccan architects.

I was at the British Museum in 1997. I remember the map room and little else. Somehow I believe I was drugged. Possibly through my marriage and or other players. This can truly destroy a person's life.

As I call it “The Museum of Stolen Culture”! Yes it is very interesting to see exhibits from every corner of the world under one roof but at the same time it reminds us how “big” were the hands of British people of older times going around the world and bringing back these things from their “expeditions”. It’s so sad to see all the exhibits being so exposed and people walking by and just scratching them with backpacks or touching them (Assyrian section and Egyptian). When I asked one of the guards why doesn’t the museum but more distant rails, he replied to me that the museum wants visitors to feel close to history 😮. At the entrance they ask you to donate money as the museum doesn’t have an entrance fee. It should be free and even better to return all these exhibits to the countries they belong to .

I have not yet been in London, but I can recommend Berlin (on the Museum Island the "Neues Museum" and the "Pergamon Museum") and of course the "Kunsthistorische Museum" in my homeland Vienna, including the "Kunstkammer"

The Altar of the Fatherland is a masterpiece of Italian 19th-century art and architecture that knew how to adapt the grand and noble Roman imperial style to pay homage to Italy's fallen heroes. Only idiots unable to appreciate beauty and greatness can criticize it.

Thank you SO MUCH for this magnificent tour of the cradle of European civilization. As an admirer of the Roman Empire and the wonderful Baroque art and architecture, I have a soft spot for Rome. Last but not least, I am a full-blooded Italian who, although born and bred in South America, never forgot his roots.

Beautiful images !!! The city of Versailles is world-renowned for its palace and gardens, which are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. And what about the museums? Among the museums in Versailles, there is the Museum of the History of France in the palace, the Carriage Gallery in the Great Stables, and the Jeu de Paume Room, which was transformed into a museum of the Revolution in 1883. A must-visit. For those who are interested, I have posted on my channel a song tinged with oneirism in a Psybient style that takes place in Versailles and its gardens: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/opanlJSJ0rPDfHU.html

The best museum in Rome is MUSEO NAZIONALE ROMANO. It is a museum for intelligent people!
@arslongavitabrevis513617 күн бұрын
Why do you say that? I consider the MUSEO DELLA CIVILITÁ ROMANA a far superior museum. With regards to classical European art (1500-1800), there is nothing better than LA GALLERIA BORGHESE. Viva Roma! Viva Italia!
@giulianoradice471517 күн бұрын

What impresses me the most about these palaces is the amount of time and work spent into building all the details. Imagine what it was like building such pieces of art of this size three centuries ago when today it takes years to renovate just the facades
