Sorry what's so special about this speech..? Nothing new, right? It's saying more about the speaker: how he wanted to understand stress and gives us a sort of overview, but that has been done so many times before

I think am broken…the stress wheel has gone on for so long all I can do is sleep and pray. -Covert narc mother -Registered nurse 20yrs -hospice nurse during Covid -ADHD, PMDD, perimenopause, fibroids, I improved my anemia 🎉 Last jobs were unethical, corruption/deception, offering bribes for nurses to do illegal activities. I’m burnt out, my home is under foreclosure and I tried bankruptcy but the payments are out of reach. Now unemployment, bankruptcy may be discharged this month. As I’m praying I can be at peace beyond understanding And the next minute I’m not sure which way to go. If I sell the house where will I go? Time is running out and I need to make a decision, I feel I can’t save myself but God can. Thanks for allowing me to vent while I am in isolation…

in 14:36, Dr. Luskin mentioned about only when a person is in danger, the person would do two things at one time (multi-task) I am curious if this is according to the science research or from Buddhism point of view? (if it is from science research, which articles support this view?)

Thank you for sharing this! I learned about WOHASU last year, 2023, as I was beginning my journey into speaking, and I declared this was my ultimate stage goal. It aligns so much with me and I'm working hard to get there so I can contribute to the ripples and help others find their own happiness.

There are as many unhappy people who had a successful corporate career as proportionally unhappy people who haven't had a successful corporate career. Happiness doesn't have anything to do with having a successful Career in the past. It Is more about having expectations about the present and future and being okay with what's coming at you and understanding that you have no control over everything and the only thing that matters is how you react to the events in your life that come at you.
