Yes! I think it hits me each time thinking of a color and knowing what right away. 😍 It is so fun getting to play with different inks then getting to finally write with it in a pen.

@@yzapensandpaper the ones I was thinking of buying were Robert Oster melon tea, van diemans Tasmania, vinta kislap, and all of the diamine colors. I think I’ll hold off on Tasmania and Kislap since they looked a little light in color. I think Diamine is going to be my top brand their inks just work so well and I don’t have to fuss with them. I recently got Winter Spice and it makes me so excited for the colder months

I agree!!! Diamine is one of my favorites. And on the Van Dieman's and Vinta Kislap, they are on the lighter side and the glitter on Vinta inks tend to clog the nib, I'm sure it will work really well on a thicker nib or a stub nib, but the colors are still really gorgeous🥰 I also love Robert Oster inks a lot. And I'm not sure if you saw me swatch KWZ smells like coffee in my other video, but I think you will love that one too. And another favorite of mine is KWZ honey..

@@yzapensandpaper just bought Yama Guri and Fuyu-Syogun. I went back and watched a couple of your haul videos and instantly added Honey to my cart. Right now I have a ton of Colorverse in my cart and it’s so hard to cut down what I really want. I’m trying to pace myself for the upcoming SF pen show

I have been planning to get Yama guri too. I do have Fuyu syogun, i thought it would be a like grey blue, but it's more of a dark grey. You will love honey!!! One of my top faves. I'm not really into colorverse inks, not sure what's with colorverse but I'm not crazy about it. 😅 I like with by starlight though.

I love the Via Air Mail paper too. I don't use it a lot but I do enjoy it when I do. I wish I could find vintage Onion skin paper, that's such a dreamy paper!!! And no, I have not tried cosmo light paper, well if it ain't your favorite then maybe it sucks lol. Bank paper is so amazing! 🥰

I really wanted to disassemble them. I tried, I failed😅 I watched videos and I did exactly how they did it and there were some plastic shavings coming out when I was using the wrench to twist it to open, idk how to explain it😅 So it scared me and i just let it be😅 I have destroyed my first twsbi diamond 580 in the past trying things i didn't know how to do so i easily get scared now.

you can also wipe the body after disassembling it with a qtip or like the sterile qtips with the long wooden handles.. i got mine from amazon

Hi, yes I agree. So when a certain brand doesn't work as soon as I swatch it, I clean it up right away and change it to the one and only shimmery ink that has ever worked in my twsbi ECO pens, it is Diamine shimmertastic ink. I have it in my pastel pink eco and it's ef, it has been lovely.

Just wanted to try the other brands i have in the video for shimmery ink, and it just reminded me why I never use them in any of my pens. Only Diamine shimmertastic. 👌🏼

Ohhh I love Sailor! I am curious about Benu pens, I'm just afraid I won't like them because their EF nib might still be too thick for my liking. I do love Diamine, Sailor manyo and Iroshizuku ink too. all so lovely! But I am loving dominant industry ink as well and FWP.

@yzapensandpaper I just bought my first Dominant Industry ink, Apple Blossom. I've got it in a clear kakuno with a Goulet broad nib. You probably could swap out the nib on the Benu's if they are too thick for you.

oh wow you should go! try looking up pen show vlogs on here. i think you will enjoy it even by yourself. you get to look at pens, stationery, ink etc.

Last year they were doing so good with shipping. Not sure why when 2024 started it has been super slow. Hopefully it's just a phase since they have this promotion going on until the end of June with freebies.

Love the shading and love how smooth it writes. Still just a tad bit too thick for my taste.
