I tested my ICStation module and it works great. Still deciding if I want to change the playback mode, but all in all, I like the module as well, so thanks for this vid. Have you tried changing the volume level? I packed the module away so I have to get it out to double check as I didn't think to check volume levels when I initially tested. I know there is a small, circular component on the board to get it done, but I thought I read that a special tool might be needed.

@JerseyHighlandsBruce10 күн бұрын
Jim, seeing your storage rack in you latest video gave me the idea of searching through my photos for lumber yards.🙂
@Randell-pb2xr11 күн бұрын
This brings back memories of a lumber company in my town, Gamblin Lumber Company. When I was just a little boy my dad purchased all his lumber, nails and other items he needed from them. The lumber yard was rail served and they would receive box cars along with flat cars of product. The main office had a wood burning potbelly stove in it. I can remember standing by it on cold days.The lumber yard is still there but is not rail served anymore and has been for years. It had dock to unload the freight cars with lots of out buildings. Thanks for the memories.

Thanks, Gandy. Believe it or not, we still had milk delivery to our front steps in 1970-72. I wonder if any milk routes still exist?

Every thing was professional and I enjoyed it. If possible I would like you tell me if is it normal to have rolling stock of various rail road names. I am a beginer. I started a little late I will be 82 this month. Thank you for your time and efforts for me! I have purchased 9 locomotives new to represent the Milwaukee Rd in ho gauge. How ever I have planned on a second track of N gauge.
@JerseyHighlandsBruce21 күн бұрын
Drew, a number of years ago, I read an article by a fellow who did a study on real railroads and produced data on how many 'home road' cars you should own and how many cars you should have from other railroads. I don't remember the specifics, but it showed that you can have a mix. The cars from other carriers should be from roads that either interchange with yours or are close enough geographically to be plausible. That also depends a lot on the era that you model.

Bruce, Varney,Mantua, and Tyco originally used Putnam motors. You may want to search that name also. Later on Mantua made its own motor open and closed which also were in tycos. Tyco was part of Mantua if I’m not mistaken
