Ive watched several interviews about this movie and felt like the interviewers fell short and didn't get past the representation. This was the conversation I was looking for...about the movie!

Stupid movie. And you are not Christian please stop. Find Jesus he is the way the truth and the life and no one will enter except through him. Goodluck guys and remember its never too late to turn from your sin. God bless you.

The reason why you can be mad at the governent is because we pay taxes! And because we pay into the systeme we should expect something from it. This is not an on reasonable thing to want.

She's telling the truth. I was molested as a child by a Family member and only 4 people in the world knew and 2 of them are dead now. I don't run away from relationships but, it's really hard for me to trust. Even if I do decide that I can trust him, no matter how good he is there's always that thought bc I've been hurt for a long time and I still have to be around that Family member. The molestation happened almost 7 years and yes, I know my parents Loved me and I probably could've told them but, I was really afraid as a child and now that I'll be 30 in a couple years I want to tell my Mom but, I'm terrified of change and breaking up my Family unit and there's children involved and, I'm not ok or healed from it but, I really Love what's left of my Family and I don't want to mess it up so, I just keep it to myself. Then, they wonder why I don't stay in relationships or I don't have kids....

I know that I didn't even know who Syleena Johnson was before R&b Divas but, I've been interested in anything she's been included in since. I was only 16 when the show came on and when she was introducing herself and "the boss" started playing I was hooked lol

I love how Syleena asked about the risk and dug into exposure and found that answer. That not only was a good interview question, but a beautiful way to dig into the layers, get some transparency from you, and then inspire you in the next moment. ICONIC. I have an adjacent practice called "What's underneath that?" So when you said it's a risk to be transparent, I would have said and "What's underneath the feeling of it being a risk?" and when you said "exposure" I would have said "and what's underneath that" over and over until we got to the eventual childhood roots around speaking up and if there were consequences for speaking up during childhood. I love that you two then spoke on patriarchy, misogynoir, and systemic oppression. I also love that y'all were able to get into some deeper layers around childhood emotional intimacy. That was a beautiful and powerful moment that we all got to witness. I've really enjoyed learning about Syleena and the dynamic you two have.

I love this episode and I love that Syleena talked about getting to know people of different personalities because that is my practice this week. One of the practices that I am leaning into this week is listening to people slightly outside of my zip code (spiritual belief system, way of life, etc). In doing so, I am listening to people who are grounded, most likely spiritual in some way, but just have a different belief system. Because I am starting to recognize more deeply the value of listening to different folk, I am grateful to have started with this video. I listened to her Front Porch set and have been interested in her mind ever since.

Its true. A wife or maybe a long term woman is not leaving off one cheat. Its that serial, sloppy cheating they'll leave. Plus look at marriages, women who makes more than their husband or husband don't have them in a lavish lifestyle leaves them easy when cheating. If that husband provides very good, a wife thinks twice before leaving base on cheating.Go to a divorce lawyer or ask for the court data. It'll tell you the cause of divorce why a woman leaves.. Wives knows that is true. Its you single people on the outside looking in who never been married are the ones who don't know that.. They will even tell yall gullibles they won't accept cheating knowing d@m well their husband have a whole mistress on the other side of town...lol..

This movie is worth saving. Enjoyed it so much. This was so worth the watch. I know I am being repetitive, but I don't care. I thought the movie was going to be another horrid hollywood production since they always try to push out the imagery that our people are bad. This movie however, depicted our people in a historically accurate context with so much morality it was inspiring. I Didn't even want to use the washroom it was so mind blowing. Shout out to the director and how could you not love Clarence? He embodies all of our people. We needed to see this.
