This movie is worth saving. Enjoyed it so much. This was so worth the watch. I know I am being repetitive, but I don't care. I thought the movie was going to be another horrid hollywood production since they always try to push out the imagery that our people are bad. This movie however, depicted our people in a historically accurate context with so much morality it was inspiring. I Didn't even want to use the washroom it was so mind blowing. Shout out to the director and how could you not love Clarence? He embodies all of our people. We needed to see this.

I’ve seen three films recently that have changed everything, The Book of Clarence, Origin, and American Fiction. In a time when there’s remake after remake after remake, we get three original films by Black directors. What a time.

This is so far the best movie made.I grew up watching biblical movies only seeing Europeans play roles of our Messiah. No I do not know what color Jesus was but I appreciate good movies based on unbelievers being converted to Christ no matter how God does it. No one has ever seem God and that’s His choice. God is Spirit and His Spirit is inside of each and everyone of His creation, some of us has lost our relationship with Him and if we see Him in His works we don’t recognize Him. I believe God is using people and ideas to enlighten our understanding of Him so that we can know Him and since some of us watch movies, it can be a way to reach some and turn us to live life with a better understanding of Him. I am a true believer in Jesus Christ our Messiah The Lord and savior. ElShaddi. ElElyon. Adonai, Yahweh, Jehovah Shalom. I watched the movie 3 times. This movie is about Clarence an unbeliever so if more then one God was mentioned it may have come from one of the unbelievers who don’t know Him in the movie. This is an amazing movie and it Magnified God. Jesus said in Mark 9:38-40For he that is not against us is on our part. Romans 14:4 4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. See the movie for yourself and give your own opinion that’s your reasonable decision not someone else.

The director doesn’t believe Jesus Christ was a real person.

Tears came to my eyes when Lakeith spoke about getting the script and that he felt seen. This message has been on my heart and mind all day. It’s important to let people know that you see them. Beyond their circumstances and the facade we all wear each day.

Dont be fooled. Do your research people. Read the lyrics to songs on the soundtrack like Hallejuah Heaven. It's a complete disrespect to Christianity.

You did not qualify or quantify what she/he said. You basically just dismissed it . There is only 1 God. Be very careful. Jesus wasn't even the emphasis of the movie. Jay-Z doesn't believe in Jesus. The whole movie is a retaliation against Whites. Jeymes said, "because, i did not see any one that look like me in it." What does the white man have to do with Jesus? Go to Europe nad in all the Churches Jesus is painted black. I thnk y'all black americans will hurt yourself with the anger you want to perpetuate on these white people. @@tamaracharese
