Your comment about the springs makes me realise why the thing bounced so insanely over bumps. Horrid. Imagine going to your boss and saying "I just designed this" - and then they actually put it into production!

BOOSTED brakes. Shit, we had nothing like that, but our dashboard was way more flash than yours, so ha ha. Oh, and we had an "engine". 1622 cc of pure automotive rage, with a column-change that was a little bit vague.

😅that’s so awesome to hear , I don’t think I’ve ever seen one driving around at all
@andysaunders37086 күн бұрын
They made a ute version, too. Even uglier. Slow as a slow thing, but you could make the rear wheels bounce repeatedly on judder bars. Absolutely terrifying on a wet road, even at its slow and gutless pace. Went forever - the oil pressure light was on from day one, and never went out, no matter what we did to it. It was a big red thing that made "driving" at night somewhat difficult because of the glare. Things have improved, slightly, in the commercial vehicle department.

@unclebrentsshed4253Ай бұрын
Does it change into top and slip like it’s in neutral? If so it’s probably the front clutch. Also the governor dictates when the gears are going to change , may have some rubbish in that . Or a valve body issue

Retro fit a 1987-91 Magna frontend with an east-west 2.6 litre engine together with a 5 speed manual. Maybe the rear of the Magna could also be fitted? Cheap as chips with plenty of power for the old Morrie van. It would be something quite unique in today's world. -------> $500 for an old Magna and years of entertainment... lolz
