If you’re burning that much oil your engine needs attention right away! I’ve owned three 640d’s and never had to put oil in any of them. They’re fantastic cars.

Yeah i got a 640D .... great with oil. I've heard the N63s are troublesome. That's why i got the 640D. Best engines apparently..even though they're diesels. 👌

I have a 2016 750i and so far it’s straight piped and has a JB4 map 2 tune. It moves pretty good but it is very heavy.

When you slide the sun roof control back the first time, it opens the sun room screen. Pushing the sun room control up with pop the sun roof. If you want to open the sun roof, side the cotrol back a second time.

The worst thing i've found is a cabin filter change. 2014 m6 f13 owner. What badge did you put on the back? I think it cheapens up the look of the car.

That's not how you remove and install what you called push pins. Please everyone pull the pin up in the center ten pull them out and to install them back in don't squeeze them. Just push them back in place the push the pins back down to lock them in place. Ripping them out is not the correct way. Once I seen that I was no longer interested in the advice in this video, next

Basically tucked it behind the trunk liner utilizing a combination of careful threading and brute force. Ran it down the holes where the trunk hinges go and that seemed to work well

What did you suspension wise? I have an 05 645ci. I want to buy a camber kit for it. The brand "Lykt" pops up on ebay for rear camber kit for my car. I have read some reviews on line about this brand but non for the 6 series. Your rear wheels appear to be close to zero camber. Could just be just the angle of the camera. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks

Not sure what you mean…? Stage 1 is no hardware mods required. Prolly gets you to 450+whp More you rag on it riskier it becomes 🤷🏻‍♂️

640i comes with 320bhp. Even tuned, the N55 will make about 400whp, roughly the same as a stock 650i The car is very, very heavy. It’s a luxury GT car. A 440i will be noticeably faster.

If you can find someone who worked for a BMW dealership service department???? 1 st they probably opened their own shop because they know first hand how dealerships overprice the service. 2 nd they know how and probably have a great relationship with companies that manufacturer parts for these cars... 3 rd they are always going to undercut the dealership on service because it makes them money... Last but most important just like any none corporate business if you bring them business or constantly purchase the same iconic brand such as mine and my brother's favorite BMW or Porsche they will discount parts or services and put videos of their work on KZfaq, that's how most KZfaqrs can afford to drive and magically add a 4 stage map plus all the cosmetics and upgrade engine carbon fiber, titanium parts for their amazing works of art completed in a year or less when they don't tell you for us non sponsored everyday citizens, 5-10 years and then we are proud of our investment! We don't drop sell it and create 5 others in 2 years, I am not hating because they inspire but I am honest and real!!! If you need receipts just look at classic cars and it's culture.....

I have the 2012 650i MSport RWD I did the 2018 750 I intercooler upgrade on my car big wheel horsepower gains I did stage2 9 blade fin turbo I upgraded the oil cooler lines I put the oil cooler delete so it runs full-time 180° thermostat. What a difference those two made then the 1.4 bar radiator cap Dine and coil packs NGK race X plugs two steps colder cat down pipes straight piped all the way back with an X pipe for back pressure from facing cold air intake. Charge pipes before programmer. The car is insane. I unfortunately blew the first engine I bought it with a bearing issue. The rod bearing did fail. Warranty bought me a brand new engine with nine updates, technically they don’t make the old motor anymore so I got lucky

Would not recommend N63 to anyone that is living paycheck to paycheck. BMW outside of warranty is just an endless money pit. I learned the hard way. BMW X6 was nothing but a endless money pit.

If you want significant power increase and no check engine light, you need a tune. Otherwise you’ll have a CEL and a great noise but that’s it

@@publicname515 most of the bad reputation comes from the pre TU iteration of the N63 say 2011-2013 roughly. Proper maintenance and even with a stage 2 tune I have zero issues
