BMW F13 650i catless downpipes installed. Cold start + flyby

Got my catless downpipes from VRSF installed on the car. It is a NIGHT AND DAY difference. Unbelievable sound when you want it, but settles down when you’re ready to just go home. Highly recommended for any N63/N63tu/S63 owner, they’ll work on any F13/F12/F06. What should i do next?

That v8 turbo sound my goodness , I believe my 640i is n55 inline 6 turbo big difference , lol good stuff 👌🏽

Your 640 has the B58 engine. The 335, 535 had N55

@@alstongibbs2261 just because it has 40i doesn’t mean it has the b58.. no “6” has the b58 unless it’s the GT, otherwise it’s a n55

@@alstongibbs2261 no it was an N55, the f series 6 series had the n55, not all 40i cars are b58s

with 2k you can make a good 700hp with the n55. but n63 sounds wayyyy better and definitely is more capable💪🏽

I’ll probably change the muffler I can’t go cat less because i won’t pass smog and it’s illegal to drive cat less in California

Yes. I changed the tips but that’s it. Just downpipes.

Did you use the slip on connection or the bolted flange??

N63tu here so - slip fit. Flange is only the original N63

Do You need a tune or just a profesional install plug and play?

If you want significant power increase and no check engine light, you need a tune. Otherwise you’ll have a CEL and a great noise but that’s it
