@richardwilliams8728Ай бұрын
It was initially shown with a lat grab which is effective as well. Master Sauer teaches in concepts instead of rigid 1 way methods. In order for your training to be effective,I believe approaching with concepts keeps your mind sharp and open. Teaches you to see opportunities that you may not necessarily see from a rigid stand point.

Agreed.. take things for what they are and the context they're used in. 80% of time for me is to work onthings that are applicable everywhere.

It sounds like Master Pedro called this past the Frog- knee Top Half-guard Pass? I like that it doesn’t require strength; it’s hidden Jujitsu that Master Pedro has shared with the grappling community! Thanks Coach AL

My coach was a Pedro Black belt and he taught us this years ago.. I can't express enough how well this works. I met one person who had a lockdown that I couldn't get past but his lockdown was so tight you would pop your knee if you didn't just accept the sweep.

I've learned so much from Pedro over the years. This is super valuable information if you actually take to to heart and use it! If someone has me in a super solid mount I don't try to escape the mount, I escape in the middle of their armbar. I already know in advance that they will try to armbar because I push on their chest to make it irresistible. Combined with good breathing/calmness, this premeditated counter attacking style is the pinnacle of jiu jitsu.
