I heard from another modder that you are no longer going to support/update the QPTECH mod. Is this true? Or did you had plans to hand it over but changed your mind? Would love to know the future of your mods, because I really love your way of thinking when you design or add things to your mod. I also want to know because I have a large community that depends on your mods, stopping support would mean a big change and lots of labor on out part.. So please, could you update us about this? Is it true?

White dye is created using powdered borax 4L water + 2x powdered borax. So no worries , it’s vanilla 😁( from the wiki )

The mod looks good. I tried to make wire but could not figure it out. had all the parts. Might need more description in the handbook or even a video on the basic parts.

When i played MC i loved logistics pipes. I guess this is the equivalent. But i do miss watching the items move through pipes.

your mod has been downloaded a bunch yet Noone watches your videos. I appreciate you taking the time to showcase stuff. after watching quite a few I'm going to give your mod a try. I think it fits in pretty well and it's not too OP either. Just got into vintage story and I'm glad to see a few hardcore fans modding it and making good I depth mods, a couple really big mods and it will help the game grow faster.

If I'm understanding correctly, copying a block with the pantograph should bring up the option to save it in the portfolio menu. I'm not seeing that option, only the search... am I doing something wrong? I'm using the newest version of the mod.

If you've copied the block, and then have the pantograph in hand when you open the portfolio you should see a save button and a box to enter the save file name on the left of the screen, towards the middle. (Should also see a picture of the currently copied shape)

@@qptech Thank you, that confirms my issue isn't due to user error! I'll have to test if another mod is causing the issue, since neither the cataogue window nor the preview with the option to save comes up while holding the pantograph after copying a block. Only the left-hand-side menu comes up with the search box at the top and blank space below. All other features appear to be working as intended, though, so that's good!

Now if only there was a way to export it as a shape to be used for possible mods. Imagine model a block using the in game chisel tools, export, then apply it as a new block's custom model. Though for all I know the portfolio saves could be transferred.

YES Now fingers crossed on a machine type block that automates chiseling. Insert chiseled block to be replicated in one slot, checks container next to the machine for matching blocks that make it up. Once it confirms all blocks are present it would delete the amount of them needed, and spit out the replicated block in the container on the opposite side of the machine.

Oh and another suggestion if possible, have all stacks compiled into a single stack when in the controller. Maybe look into what that "Big Stack Fix" mod did for Cosmosis, and see if that could be utilized for rendering the contents of connected containers without overriding the base game's stack sizes. Also fingers crossed on some sort of Auto Crafting aspect, maybe an additional block that can be linked. Or even machine linking for tech mods.

I would suggest adding some way to change to opacity of the highlighting if possible, a quality of life option. Oh and thinking about it, an optional crafting window would be nice as well.

He probably could end up expanding making something similar to Simple Storage Networks. Considering he's not going to be continuing his QPTech Mod *Being replaced with Vintage Engineering by Buggi* Though I for one make use of Buggi's crafting bench mod, not just because that mod I suggested for him to make. But since the left ctrl click method of opening multiple menus exist, I can have multiple crafting windows open at once that keep their craft ingredients.
