You mentioned whales can be spotted from a stateroom’s balcony. What time around I need to wake up to spot them? What does the captain of your cruise mention to inform the passengers to check outside for spotting when a whale showed up? Like “a whale is spotted on the starboard side” ?

Well said and a great decision. I honestly think we are a long way with the "Residence at Sea only" style of ship. The logistics, ongoing cost etc. to remain profitable is such a long shot for any cruise ship that want full time residents. Perhaps if they get more peeps but for now, no. Just my opinion....

I would think Margaritaville at Sea Islander would not renovate a whole ship and not clean the algae and other impediments from the pool before inaugural sailing.

I appreciate your videos! We just booked our first family cruise on this ship for later this month. I was honestly hesitant as this is literally navigating new waters for our family - two adults and four teens/tweens. I felt much better after watching your reviews. I’m hoping we have smooth sailing and become cruisers because it seems like a great way to have a good time and enjoy nice experiences while entertaining the kids and being smart with money. I asked about the color of the pool. I was told by the CEO that they chose green for the color of paint on the bottom to make it look like a margarita. Several of us told him we thought that was a mistake because it made the water look dirty.

Good tips but we disagree on booking the train on shore. We are heading to Flam on a cruise. We look on the site that book tickets for the train. All the time slots are sold out for that day we're in port. There is only one time left. You guys are giving misleading information.

What Villa Vie Residences is doing has never been done before. The ship they purchased had been in dry dock for several years. It was not only in need of updating but also a massive mechanical overhaul. They have their ship. It's now in great shape except for that rudder pin then more inspections.

Don't worry 💩 happens. Now, you can explore other ships and share your great videos with all of us. Enjoy Utopia.

Having delays for a brand new or renovated ship and is to be expected. But I feel like you let down your supporters when you gave us the impression by the headline several months ago that said “We are moving into a cruise ship”. I assumed you had sold your house etc. And all your belongings would be sold or in long term storage. But I get the impression that was never the plan even if the ship started on time. Fellow KZfaqrs ParoDeeJay are on a 28 day Alaskan cruise and they have never once said that they have moved onto a cruise ship. Same with my parents who once took a 45 day cruise. Please keep it real guys as I’m a big fan!!

Just came back from the 5 night cruise that was after you. Fantastic!!!! Clean, great food and any kind of balcony room is a plus. We slept with our door open. Staff was incredible-we felt doted on.
