very clear video thanks! but I think you got ISO part wrong, the ISO do not allow more light to come in, it's just a gain increase which do not allow more photons to enter the sensor, from my understanding of ISO, in astrophotography the best thing is to pump up iso as much as possible as far as the relevant highlights are not clipped, that's not only increase dynamic range, but also reduces relative noise after processing.

I checked out youtube before buying the Canon pro 1000 and now I wish I didn't because I find I'm constantly throwing money at it. I try and print a test page everyday but then if the power goes out or you forget a day or teo next thing your $40 Canon Maintenance cartridge is full because this printer is hell bent on wasting ink everytime it starts up. I love how it prints but if you don't plan on using it often then I don't recommend this printer.

I am reluctant to buy another Canon printer, although this presentation intrigues me. I stopped using a Canon Pixma Pro 100 because of margin issues. It was always a battle to print a photo with a uniform 1/2 in or 1 in border around the image. You could get 1/2 in on two sides, and then 0.56 on the others. The lack of symmetry drove me nuts. Strangely, I can send my photos to a lab online, and get those nice uniform borders. Now if I wanted a borderless print, no problem. This begs the question as to whether Canon's print drivers can handle uniform margins without problem?

We had a truck bed cap when towing our Airstream. Key is to get side windows that open fully for equipment access. Do not recommend using the rear of your Airstream. We know from experience that the vibration will break the carrier or your bikes. Good luck with your solution search.

Solid inexpensive setup! Good call. So, I'm in the same boat as you on my thoughts with this topic and am breaking down to get a cap for my truck bed. With the amount of money some of us spend on our bikes, I want my bikes out of the elements while traveling with a 'feeling' of better security. The bonus for me will be the generator, solo stove, and other camping gear will be relatively protected and out of the elements as well. Down side, I know how much I'm fixin' to throw down to put a cap on my 8ft bed.....not fun

Do you not boil the water prior to mixing in the sugar? It isn't obvious in the video on the posted directions but I find it speeds up the process and sterilizes the mixture.

I've done that with my M4... a couple of times! The M3 or M2 are slower but foolproof. The M5 is good too.

We love Big Bend, in-fact we run an Airstream Caravan every year to show off Big Bend to 15 other rigs. We go in November to avoid the extreme heat. But what fun it is. Thanks for the video well done.

Great itinerary......but you need more than 3 days in the Big Bend area!! Also do not miss Taqueria Milagro on Ghost Town Road right in Terlingua. The best tacos, very friendly people, BYOB - can't beat it!

Thanks for the video Mallory! I planned to be there this week but cancelled due to the heat. I am looking at the fall now. I've never been there so it will be an experience for sure. Love your photography. Starting to lean more about Astrophotography so when I go I can get some great shots as well.
